August 22, 2015 (NXT Takeover Brooklyn):
"And there you have it ladies and gentlemen Bayley is your new NXT women's champion!"- Corey Graves stated
"She has worked very hard to get to this moment and now the title is all hers."- Renee Young replied
"Agreed if there was one person we could deserved this honor it would be Bayley!"- Byron Saxton
The referee raised Bayley's arm as she got back up to her feet. With tears in her eyes Bayley took the Women's championship and raised it in the air with both hands to a roaring ovation from the crowd. As the crowd cheered on Bayley tossed the belt over her shoulder and looked at her opponent Sasha who sat down on in the corner of the ring watching Bayley celebrate her moment. Bayley walked over to Sasha and extended her hand to help her up. With a smile on her face Shasha excepted and grabbed Bayley's hand.
"Congratulations Bayley you earned this moment! Now go on and enjoy it!"- Sasha stated
The two friends embraced with a hug and Sasha raised Bayley's arm showing that she was the new face of the NXT women's division. Sasha made her way out of the ring and to the back as Bayley stayed in the ring listening to the crowd. The crowd response was overwhelming and alot to take in. The audience yelled for Bayley to give a speech. Nodding her head in agreement Bayley walked to the corner of the ring where a crew member handed her a microphone. Bayley raised the microphone to speak, but found it almost impossible to do so. Winning the title and the loving ovation from the crowd was just too much. Bayley kept her composure and began her speech.
"Well I don't know what to say really. I mean this is it what I've worked so hard for."- Bayley stated.
Bayley tried to go on, but couldn't. However, the crowd cried out for her to continue and so she did.
"Back in 2008 I started to train to become a wrestler. With the help of my trainer Jason Styles and Big Time Wrestling I developed the skills needed to get here to NXT and the WWE. It hasn't been an easy road in getting here though. I had to push through injuries, be away from my family, and compete everyday. I-"- Bayley started to say before stopping to look at the crowd.
"Man you guys are making this so hard on me with all your support!"- Bayley stated
The crowd kept on cheering and Bayley decided to continue on.
"Some of you may not know this, but my brother Erin passed away back in 2007 and it has left a huge hole in my life that can never be filled. Everyday I work harder and harder in honor of him and his memory. The way he helped anyone in need and looked after me has been motivation for me in my wrestling career."- Bayley stated
Now the crowd began to yell BAYLEY, BAYLEY, BAYLEY which made Bayley cry even more. Never before had she be given such an ovation.
"I want to say thank you to my mom and dad for all that they did for me throughout my life. I couldn't ask for any other parents, but them. They supported my dream to become a wrestler and made the effort to be at every show they could. Thank you mom and dad for everything!"- Bayley stated
Bayley paused for a few seconds trying to decide what to say next. Finally after giving it some thought something came to mind.
"The last thing I want to say is thank you to all of you! Thank you for coming to the shows and giving your support. You guys are the reason that WWE and even wrestling in general is still around today! Thank you for that!"- Bayley stated
Once again the crowd cheered on as Bayley looked on. After handing back the microphone Bayley stood in the middle of the ring and raised the championship over her head. The crowd continued to shout her name as she walked up the entrance ramp. Once she reached the top Bayley stopped. Once again she raised the belt over her head before tossing it over her shoulder and going through the curtain. After wiping off the tears from her eyes Bayley started to walk back to the locker room and once Bayley reached it she was met with a big surprise. The entirety of the NXT roster and backstage officials had gathered around to congratulate her on the win. Bayley could feel more tears coming at the sight of everyone there.
"Come on guys you didn't need to do this!"- Bayley stated
Paul Levesque otherwise known as Triple H stepped up and said-" Nonsense this is a historic moment for you Bayley and we all wanted to make sure it was as special as possible."
Bayley walked toward Paul and gave him a hug which he returned. After the two broke their hug Paul stated- "Now I want you to go on and enjoy this night alright you earned it!
Bayley nodded in agreement and walked over to the other members of the roster and officials. Everyone congratulated and hugged Bayley while telling her how great she will do on the main roster one day. Bayley felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to face Sasha. The two best friends embraced and walked over to the other female members of the roster.
"Bayley were all so proud of you! You put on one hell of a performance out there!"- Sasha stated
"Oh come on Sasha it wasn't just me in the ring you were in there tearing it up as well."- Bayley replied
"Thanks, but you were the true star in our match."- Sasha stated
Bayley smiled and gave Sasha a hug. Bayley continued to talk with her fellow female wrestlers and after an hour it was just her, Emma, Charlotte, Bechy, and Sasha.
"You know guys I never thought I would make it this far in my career. To be honest I never saw myself being the champion of our division."- Bayley stated
"Bayley what kind of talk is that of course you deserve to be the champion! Besides you work a lot harder than most wrestlers in NXT."- Bechy replied
"I agree with Bechy Bayley you really are a game changer in women's wrestling."- Emma added
Bayley smiled at their comments and then asked the other four women-"Hey are you guys still thinking about starting that group we were talking about?"
"You mean that stable similar to the Four Horseman?"- Emma asked
"Yah that's it."- Bayley replied
"It sounds like a good idea, but is there any other members you think we should add?"- Charlotte asked
"Well I was thinking we could add Ember and Alexa to the group. I think they have just what we need in our group."- Sasha stated
"Good idea Sasha we should get in touch with them about it."- Bayley replied
The group continued to talk for another hour before parting ways. It was around 9:30 pm and Bayley was still in the locker room getting ready to leave. After taking a shower, getting dressed, and packing up her costume Bayley made her way to the parking garage. On her there she spotted a familiar face waiting by the men's locker room. It was Finn and he was leaning against the wall going through his phone. Bayley decided to go over and talk to him.
"Hey Finn how are you doing?"- Bayley asked
"Oh hi Bayley I was just waiting on Gallows and Anderson."- Finn replied
"You guys going out tonight or something?"- Bayley asked
"Yah we were planning on going to club for a bit to hang out and relieve some stress."- Finn stated
"Well I hope you guys enjoy yourselves and don't get hurt tonight alright I need my favorite demon healthy alright!"- Bayley jokingly stated
Finn laughed at Bayley's comment and decided to comment about her championship win.
"I watched your match from backstage and I have to say you put on one hell of a match. Both you and Sasha proved that women can wrestle just as good as the men came."- Finn stated
"Thanks Finn I appreciate that. I'm really trying to show to audiences that were in a new generation of wrestling where women actually wrestle not just stand by men and smile."- Bayley replied
"Well I'm glad there is someone ready to fight for what they believe in on the female roster."- Finn stated
A few seconds later Gallows and Anderson exited the locker room and were ready to head out. They noticed Bayley standing with Finn and Gallows stated-"Hey Bayley great match tonight! Congratulations on winning the championship."
"Yah Bayley we were all impressed by what you and Sasha did in the ring."- Anderson did in the ring.
"Aww thanks guys that's so sweet of you to say! Well I'll let you guys go and enjoy your time at the club."- Bayley stated as she started to walk away from the three men. As she was walking away Anderson asked-"Hey Bayley would you like to join us?"
"Oh no I don't want interfere with your plans."-Bayley replied
"Nonsense it's fine and plus wouldn't it be nice to celebrate your title win?"- Gallows asked
"I don't know guys it's getting kind of late and I was just planning on going back to my hotel."- Bayley replied
Finn could tell that Bayley was starting to feel uncomfortable and stepped in.
"It's alright Bayley if you don't want to go then no harm done."- Finn stated
"Really, are you sure?"- Bayley asked
"Yah Finn's right you shouldn't have to go if you don't want to."- Gallows added
"Okay well I'll catch guys later alright."- Bayley stated
"Bye."- all three men replied as Bayley continued her trip to the parking garage.
After stepping stepping into her red mercedes Bayley drove off towards her hotel. It was about 11:00 pm and she was starting to feel tired. Thirty minutes later Bayley was back at her hotel room and once she stepped in her room collapsed on the bed after the long day she had gone through.
