This is just something I decided to do for fun. I hope you all like it!
Hope and Love
By BeBeSpacey
Blaine sat at the piano in Warblers' Hall. His hands gracefully stroked the keys as he sang "Almost Lover" by A Fine Frenzy.
I never want to see you unhappy. I thought you'd want the same for me.
Being alone in Warblers' Hall always helped Blaine sort things out, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get Kurt off his mind.
I'm trying not to think about you. Can't you just let me be?
Tears ran down his cheeks. He knew he would never have the courage that he often gives Kurt. He'll never be able to say, "I love you."
Blaine misses a key and falls onto the piano with a sob. He knew he was alone.
"Blaine?"
Blaine felt a soft hand on his back.
"Are you okay?"
Blaine looked up, and through his blurry vision he saw the boy that meant everything to him.
Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaine and locked him in an embrace that lasted minutes but felt like a lifetime. Kurt stroked Blaine's now mess of a curly head and rocked him back and forth. The only thing he knew to do was to repeat, "It's okay. It's okay." If only he knew that he was the cause of this scene.
"Blaine, you're not alone."
Blaine looked up into Kurt's eyes. Those eyes. The most beautiful and pure eyes he had ever seen. They looked back into his, and he wished that time would freeze, that he could be wrapped in his arms forever, staring into those indescribable eyes.
"I'm here," Kurt whispered. His breath was warm and comforting on Blaine's skin. It was strange for Kurt to see the boy he so often leaned on for support in need of some himself. All he knew was that he wanted to do everything in his power to stop Blaine's pain, but he was lost. All he could do was hold him and stare. They looked at each other in desperation. Then, Kurt summoned the courage to do what Blaine only ever dreamed of.
Their lips barely touched. Both of the boys were too afraid to bring anymore contact, but their need to be in the arms of the other brought them closer. The kiss was like nothing the boys had ever felt before. No song or duet could ever have more feeling than this. No lyrics could ever capture the way they felt. It was love. Pure love.
Their lips were soft and wet. Each touch felt like everything they thought it would feel like and more. It felt like home. Kurt kissed the tears from Blaine's cheeks and pulled away.
"We better stop now before any of the Warblers show up for practice."
Blaine smiled. It was a smile Kurt had never seen before. It wasn't like the smile he gave Kurt on the staircase when the first met, and it wasn't like the smile he gave him as he sang Teenage Dream. No, this smile was different. It was the smile of a boy with pure hope and love looking at the person that he hoped could love him back.
