Chapter One: The Beginning

"Why? I know that's such a simple question, but really, why? Why me? Why now? Why when I have finally found the love of my life."

"Excuse me my lady, but your mother wishes for you to get dressed, and meet her in the throne room right away. She says it is of important matters." "Thank you Tenten for letting me know. Hmm I wonder what these" important matters" are. "I'll go get Hinata so we can help you." Tenten her lady in waiting replied interrupting the princesses thoughts.

An hour later, the princess arrived at the throne room along with her ladies in waiting Tenten and Hinata. "You called for me mother." "Ah Sakura dear, I see you finally decided to show. You didn't give the maids a hard time did you?" "No mother. I just had a hard time getting dressed. I mean really, what is so important that it calls for me to be dressed this way?" "Sakura, my angel. Your mother and I have finally found a way to settle the dispute between our country of Lightening, and the country of Konoha." "Really! What is it? I mean it's about time." The door opens and in comes one of the knights Neji. "Excuse me your majesties. Your guests have arrived." "Ah yes let them in. Sakura here is our solution." The guest walk in, and it is four people. All men. They are in fact the king and prince of Konoha, and two knights. Sakura observed them all, wondering what the enemies could have to do with the solution. "Sakura" her father said interrupting her thoughts. "I would like you to meet your future husband, Prince Lee of Konoha." "WHAT?" "I know it seems kin- "You can't do this to me" she said interrupting her mother. "How dare you involve me in this. Is this really all you could come up with?" "Sakura, my dear cherry blossom I promise. I promise to take care of you forever. To protect your youthfulness until I die." Lee said interrupting her. "Sakura dear, this will all work out, I promise. Please do not fight us on this." Sakura looked back at the visitors from Konoha. She observed all of them, and thought they looked friendly enough. "Okay." "Good, because you're leaving today." "WHAT."
