This is my first story so any thougths or comments are welcome. ; )

Thoughts

Sauske woke up, drenched in sweat, screaming for his wife.

"What is it?" the woman lying next to him asked, having been woken up by her husband's screaming her name.

"Nothing". Sauske said in a very controlled vioce.

"Don't do this to me. Don't shut me out." she pleaded.

"Fine," Sasuke growled, " I saw my brother. Before you say it, I know he's dead. Anyway, he's standing over you holding a kunai, just like when I was little and he was killing my mother. He plunges the kunai into your heart and I'm just standing there helpless to help you." He choked out the last sentence. "I can't lose you you're the reason I am truly alive. I can't live with out you." he whispered into her soft tresses, pulling her close, "I love you."

"Oh, baby, I love you too. Itachi can't get me, though, because you killed him. I know. I was there."

Flashback

"You know, little brother, when you're helpless and can't do any thing about it I'm going to kill her right in front of you, just like I killed our parents," Itachi said calmly.

"You won't touch her. You'll die first." Sasuke said forcefully.

They charged at each other. Sasuke using his chidori, Itachi copying him. Itachi missed. Sasuke hit dead on.

"Good-bye little brother. Take care of her. She deserves it," Itachi said in a choked whisper in Sasuke's ear. He the collapsed onto the ground.

The woman standing across the clearing ran over to the two people in the center.

"Sasuke-kun! Are you alright?"

"Yeah," he choked tears sliding down his cheek. "I can't believe that he's really gone. I just killed my brother."

Six months later (still in the flashback)

"Do you regret it now that it's done?"she asked him.

"Yes and no. Yes because he was my last living relative and he was my brother, no because he can't kill anyone else nor hurt them." Sasuke replied.

"What are you going to now?"

"First I am going to begin to restore my clan but after that I don't know."

"Do you have any idea who you would like to help you restore your clan?"

"Yeah. I have a girl, no she's a woman now, in mind. That is if she'll have me. I love her, but I don't if she loves me back. She used to but after all that I've done to her I don't think that she'll take me."

"She would be stupid not to love you."

"Good thing to hear. Since you are the one I plan in asking. I love you. I promise to treat you better. Will you marry me?" he asked hopefully down on one knee.

She pulled him up saying," Yes of course I'll marry you. I love you with all that I am and

I always will."

"I know things won't always be perfect and that we'll fight but I plan on sticking through to the end," he told her.

" I will too."

End Flashback

"I love you too. We'll be happy together just the four of us and maybe more of us later." said the woman who was largely pregnant with twins.

"I know, okay let's go back to sleep."

She held Sauske in her arms thinking that in just one month she'd be a mother and Sasuke a father.

After seven years of marriage we are finally going to be a family.

Just before she drifted off to sleep she heard Sasuke say" I'll always love you...my Sakura blossom."

Sakura fell asleep next to her husband with a smile on her face murmuring " I love you too Sasuke-kun."
