Summary: my name is Chloe King, I'm 16 years old and I live in Palm Beach, Florida. My mom's name is Meredith King; I don't have a father, at least not anymore he left when I was 4. I don't see my mom a lot because her job requires her to travel a lot. I have a boyfriend named Brian; we've been dating for almost 2 months. 2 of my best friends moved to San Francisco, California a year ago and it's been just me and Mimi since. So how will I cope when my relationship with Brian takes a turn for the worst and the only people I have to confide in are thousands of miles away? You'll just have to wait and see ;).
In my story no one is mia so there is no order.

Chloe's POV:
I love this feeling; the feeling of being on top of the world, the feeling of the water splashing me, the smell of the ocean. I love surfing, it's how I relax, and I need to right now. See I had just had yet another fight with Brian. We've been having a lot lately. He keeps pulling away, being distant and I don't understand why.
I surf and swim till the sun starts to set then I just lay on a towel and watch, thinking. Thinking about everything, my mom's upcoming business trip, my problems with Brian, and about how Mimi is doing the same thing he is. Pulling away, becoming distant.
Between the soothing sounds of the ocean and the beautiful sunset, I feel calm at peace, even comforted. After the sun sets I get up and start packing knowing if I'm out much longer my mom will start to worry. That's when I see them.
