Hey, Cherry here. This is another instalment of my oneshot series, and can be read with River Deep, Mountain High, or on it's own. Basically, I'm writing THG songfics.
Enjoy!
Sexy and I Know it by LMFAO
"Hey Finnick."
"That was…amazing fishing, Finnick."
"You're so good with a trident Finnick."
"So…are you free tomorrow afternoon Finnick?"
"Want to go grab some lunch Finnick?"
"Finnick. Please take your shirt off again."
"Finnick, do you work out?"
Ahhh…all I heard was Finnick…Finnick…Finnick…these girls had no shame. Actually, I think I'd heard a guy somewhere in the mix too. What can I say? I turn lesbians straight and I turn straight guys gay.
I'm just that damn sexy.
If this sounds strange and egotistical to you, you're right. It probably is. The thing is, there's only so much adoration a guy can take before his head swells up uncontrollably. Some might call it "arrogant", but I prefer "good self-esteem".
In my opinion, people should know exactly how sexy they are, and depending on that, they should act accordingly. For example, I'm very sexy. Because of that, I act accordingly and I take my shirt off whenever possible.
It's a win-win situation, really. Girls get to see my abs, and I get dates. I get hit on when I'm on dates too. Waitresses love me. No shoes, no shirt, and I still get service. That's pretty much my motto in life.
It's not sexist. I'm a guy, I have urges. What makes me awesome is that I understand that girls have needs too. Needs to see my abs. And pecs.
And…if they're lucky, other places as well.
Just kidding. I do have standards, you know.
Anyways. Pretty much every time I finish fishing, I get mobbed by girls. Usually in the margin of time of after I get out of the water and before the shirt gets put back on.
The thing is, I'm not particularly attracted to these girls. I'm mean, physically, I am, of course. I have hormones. The thing is…I don't really like any of them. They're too cheap. I like it when they play hard-to-get.
Do I mind when they run their hands down my rock-hard abs? Do I mind when they tell me how perfectly tanned my skin is from fishing all day? Of course not. I actually enjoy it. I just want a girl who doesn't throw her dignity away the second they see me shirtless.
See? I'm a pretty deep guy. Hot face, sexy body and brains. Plus, I kick ass with a trident.
If I were a girl, I'd probably fall in love with me too.
So one day, I was just walking around, and there was this girl, who wasn't mobbing me. She wasn't asking me out, she wasn't trying to subtly "bump" into me. She was just in a shop, buying a scarf. A blue scarf. It would match her eyes, which were blue as well. I'd seen her around before. Amy? Andy? Annie? Yes! Annie. Annie Cresta.
I sold fish to her dad once, a few years ago. She was pretty cute then, but now she was just beautiful. She had long hair, right down to her back and the longest eyelashes too. That wasn't the most attractive thing to me, though.
The most attractive part was that she just didn't seem into me. It was weird. I wasn't used to it. It made me want her more.
Ahhh…I just sounded like a creeper. Never mind that last thought.
I made up my mind that I would get to know this Annie girl a bit more. Once she got to know me though, I was pretty sure she'd fall for me.
What can I say? When you're sexy, you've got to let the world know it.
Oh my. This is why we love Finnick. Drop a review please, letting me know what you think of the story and/or what you think of Sam Claflin playing Finnick!
