One day, Daisy was watching Girls Softball.

Then, she had thought of playing softball again. (She had played when she was 11.)

So she picked up the phone and called Peach.

"Hi Peach!"

"Hi Daisy! What are you calling about today?" Wondered Peach.

"I wanted to ask you for your opinion."

"Opinion for what?"

"I wanted to play softball again like I did when I was 11." Replied Daisy.

"I think that would be great for you to play again, because when you played before, you were the best on the team!"

"Oh yeah I was wasn't I!"

"Yep, so you better sign up right away!" Peach said with enthusiasm.

So Daisy hung up the phone and got on her laptop to find places she could play at.

When she found one in her area, and there was only 1 opening left so she quick, signed up for the 15-17 year old one.

The next day, she met her team at the fields.

One of the girls asked Daisy if she had any experience playing, and Daisy said "Yes."

So the coach gave all the girls their jerseys, Daisy's number was 1.

So the practice started, and after a little warm ups, Daisy was the best one playing!

The next day, they had a game!

Peach, Mario, and Luigi had came to cheer Daisy on!

When it started, Daisy was the first one to bat.

But then, the other team started saying "Hey batter, batter! Swing batter!"

And Daisy was boiling mad inside!

But she kept the anger in and hit a home run!

Everyone cheered while she ran around and touched the bases!

So when she got back to the dugout, she sat down and remembered something.

She remembered that when she was 11, when all the kids yelled at her and said Hey batter, batter, she got mad and threw the bat at a kid! And that's why she quit playing softball, she had got kicked off the team!

But this time she didn't get very mad, she handled it good this time.

So when the game was over, they announced the winner!

The winner was Daisy's team!

Daisy was happy!

After that, she went home and told Peach, "I don't think I will keep playing softball Peach..."

"Why Daisy? Your really good."

"Well I Uh, I just needed to play one more game to prove to myself that I wouldn't blow my temper again and throw my bat again..."

"Oh Daisy! Don't feel bad! That kid deserved it! She was overdoing the whole "batter, batter" thing, so its alright Daisy. And its your choice to not play and I wont get in the way."

"Thanks Peach! Your the best sister!"

So after that, Daisy went to bed and Peach went home.
