Who is ominous, merciless, vindictive and cruel
Who loves to watch the world suffer, to wreak havoc, to tempt the voracious minds of the greedy
Who feels maniacal and proud, yet threatened
"Fancy thinking the beast was something you could hunt and kill!"
Who needs man's foolishness, bloodlust, and thirst for power to thrive
Who gives hatred to the hearts of man, fear to the foolish, and Simon the knowledge he needs,
"You knew didn't you? I'm part of you? Close, close, close!"
Who fears peace, harmony, and equality
Who would like to see the world fall into chaos and shatter beneath our feet
Who shares secrets with Simon that only he knows
Who is within us all, waiting to be heard, but we must know how to hold him back
"My poor, misguided child. Do you think you know better than I do?"
Who is a resident of Hell, if we so choose to believe. Or does he reside in the back of our minds?
