Brian looked up from his desk as the boy slammed the door shut, threw his bag on the ground with force and began pacing the floor.
"Idiot! She's a freak! GA!"
Brian had no idea what had happened, but it was amusing to watch the blond boy rant all over the loft.
Knowing he wasn't going to get any more work done that night, Brian closed the folder and finally asked, "Anything you would love to share with the class, Mr. Taylor?"
Justin's head snapped to the desk with eyes as big as saucers and a gasp.
"Shit, Brian!" he laughed, "I had no idea you were home."
Brian chuckled as he stood and pulled the boy in for a kiss.
"That was pretty obvious… what's got you so riled up?"
Almost instantly the dark cloud returned to hover over Justin's usually angelic features.
"That stupid Into to drawing class! The instructor is out of her fucking mind!"
Brian kissed his nick, but not receiving much response, he threw himself on the couch and dug through the book bag for a sketch book.
"Unconventional?"
"Unbelievable!" Justin began pacing again in front of the couch. "She expects us to 'just work on line', just draw shapes. No shading, then she tells me my work is 'childlike'…"
Brian leafed through the book. Everything the kid did was amazing. From family and friends to cross contours of apples and bed sheets.
"She keeps making fun of me for having personal style; that I can't get past the way I was taught and open myself to new teachings. She's forcing us to make a 3D replica of our shoes out of wire!"
Brian shrugged as he closed the book, "Sounds like art to me."
He reached out and pulled Justin onto his lap.
Justin rolled his eyes but didn't resist as Brian began kissing his neck again and slipping off his shirt.
"Brian, it's not an art class. It's a drawing class. I'm not a metal worker!... I'm going to have to drop it…"
Brian pulled away, nodding slowly.
"Sure. You could do that. Even though you've fought with your hand to get in there in the first place, fought to get money to go… Sure, just let that one teacher scare you from one class."
Justin's face scrunched up as he groaned.
"I get it…"
"Get what?" Brian asked, trailing kisses down his shoulder.
"I wont drop class. I'll stick with it." He threw his leg around Brian, straddling him.
Brian shrugged, "No, no, drop the stupid class…When your famous, she can tell everyone how you couldn't cut it in her class…."
They both started chuckling as Justin poked his sides.
"I said I get it! I'll stay in the fucking class… how do you manage to do it?"
His lips hovered above Brian's.
"Do what?"
"Talk me out of doing something stupid?"
"I'm just…. A genius…"
