A/n This poem I wrote while listening to a boring church sermon. I hope you like it. Please review me and give me your honest opinion. If you didn't like it you can write that but please tell me why and maybe what I could do better. Thanks for all of your help.

What He Did

He created a wonderful place

With everything we need

He came down to Earth

So his message we would heed

He gave up all his powers

To become one of us

He worked as a slave

In the fields, in the dust

He took a criminal's punishment

For something he didn't do

He died on the cross

For me and for you

With each nail in his hand

He took away a sin

By the time he was dead

A clean life we could begin

We put him in the tomb

And rolled away the stone

People weeped and cried

As they turned away for home

And on Easter morning

He came back to life

He gave us hope and faith

That after death, there's life

He gave us love and joy

Sadness and trust

He gave us hope

And a wonderful life to us

For everything he has given us

He has only one request

Just that you believe in him

For God loves you the best

A/n so what do you think? Well please read and review. I hope to be coming out with more poems in the future. Have a good day and thanks for reading this poem!
