A Romantic Comedy.

It was a bit of a boring night at the Tower. Starfire and Robin were on a date and Cyborg was out patrolling in the new and improved T-car. The tower was actually quiet with Raven who was reading her book on the couch next to Beast boy who was watching a movie. One of those romantic comedies. Normally Raven would ignore the television and the screen and what it displayed, but there was something about this movie that made it hard to look away, and before she knew it she had put her book aside and was watching it too.

Beast boy noticed immediately and smirked, secretly scooting closer to her on the couch. Raven didn't notice and continued to enjoy the movie. The romance was sweet and the comedy was comical. There was a cute plot and a charming ending. Once the movie ended Beast boy turned off the TV and faced Raven with a beaming face. "Sooo… What-ya think?" He grinned.

"It was okay." She said simply.

"Oh come on, it was hilarious."

She huffed, "You only liked it because you can relate to Jack."

The main male lead.

"Excuse me?"

"You're both smug, full of yourselves, cocky, piggish, and you tell bad jokes…"

"You forget devilishly handsome." He added with a cocked eyebrow.

"Nope, I left that one out for a reason." She smirked.

He huffed, "Well you're just like Joy."

The main female lead.

"Your uptight, a clean freak, sarcastic, stick in the ass, party pooper..."

There little bicker fest suddenly stopped as they both realized they just compared each other to the main couple in the movie that ended up together, and it forced them to quickly look away from each other, avoiding eye contact.

'This was awkward.'

It was now that Raven finally realized how close they were and she was tempted to scoot away when Beast Boy spoke up. "You're also both, Smart, well put together, and pretty." He added quietly.

She looked at him surprised before adding her own input. "Well, you're both, nice…" She began and he quickly looked up as she said it. "Funny…" He leaned closer, "And um… cute..."

As soon as she finished he quickly took a chance and kissed her, and surprisingly she greeted it. And just like in the movie the cute, simple kiss deepened… Their hearts pounded hard and threatened to explode as they slowly rested their hands on one another. Lip barriers opened as things deepened and got more heated, and intense. They slowly leaned back onto the couch as he propped himself over her, her arms tightening around his shoulders. This was extreme, but also kind of nice, but just like in the movies there needed to be a turning point, something had to go wrong.

He lightly pulled away, a smile on his face as he glanced down at her as she caught her breath. And then there was a confession. It slipped out of his mouth without a thought, but as soon as the words were said her facial expression change. She began to sit up and lightly pushed his chest, letting him know to get off wasn't the reaction he was hoping for as he quickly got off.

Raven sat up and looked at her feet before glancing up and looking at him. "You love me?"
