A/N More Makorra! Sorry it's so short. I have so much to write right now. *rubs temple* it isn't even funny. But this was on my list, so I'm checkin' it off. (and sorry this isn't even close to the actual scene. I just realized that. Whoops.)
Mako carefully peered out from his position behind a wall. Right outside the building holding the Revelation, an 'usher' was letting people in. He turned to Korra.
"It doesn't look to rough out there," he said simply. "It looks like people can just get in." he shrugged. Korra looked past him at the scene before her. She cocked her head.
"How weird…shouldn't they be asking for passes or something?" she asked. Mako nodded his head. "Guess not. So do you know the plan?"
Korra turned to him and raised her eyebrow. "We had a plan?" she asked. After chuckling lightly, Mako realized she was serious-he'd forgotten to tell her the plan.
"Oh, yeah. We sneak in, watch the Revelation happen-whatever that is-see Amon and maybe see more of what he's after, get Bolin, and get the heck out of there." Mako instructed, and crossed his arms. Korra nodded. "Sounds good, Captain. Did you ever consider the fact that any part of your master plan might not work?" she asked drily. Mako shrugged again.
"A couple of times. But you have me; so it's obviously going to work out great." he said. Korra laughed softly.
"If you say so, Mr. Hat Trick. Let's go." Korra began to walk off, but Mako grabbed her arm gently to stop her.
"You're going to need one more piece to your disguise. Here. Use this." he reached up and removed his beloved red scarf from his neck. Korra gasped faintly.
"Mako, I can't take that. It must mean a lot to you." she said, and tried to push the scarf back into Mako's hands. He held up one hand.
"Take it, Korra. Number one, you need a better disguise; and number two, it looks better on you anyway." He said, and crossed his arms. Korra huffed.
"Okay, okay. Whatever you say." she slipped the scarf over her neck and gave Mako a tumbs-up, and the two began to walk down the road leading to the building.
