Author's note: So this was written for the E/O Challenge. Word of the Week was Independent. I don't even know how I came up with this - it combines my love of Doctor Who with Supernatural. This is why I thought it merited as a stand-alone one-off drabble. (If you don't watch Doctor Who, I seriously recommend it to you. The graphics are pretty bad but the character interactions totally makes it worth it!)

Hello's and Hey's
His eyes light up when a cute blonde walks in. His brows come a bit lower when she walks over to a thin man – outright skinny, in fact, with brown swept hair and glasses. And his smile altogether disappears when he hears them.
"Hello," she says with a breathless smile.
"Hello," he replies, smiling as if she's the centre of time and space.
They're acting like they would cross universes or go to hell for each other or something. Gag.
Sammy sits down, calming his irrational big-brother-nerves, with a casual "hey".
"Hey," he replies. He's glad they're the independent kind.
