One-shot. What happens when Emmet catches on fire? Well, he's on fire.
A/N Hiya! This is my first story, and I'll take constructive criticism…maybe. Oh well.
And…it's kinda random. Ok, alot random. So?
This can take place anytime in the books.
Edward and Emmet were out hunting in the forest behind their house.
Yo, Eddie-Bear! screamed Emmet in his mind.
"What?" Edward said out loud. Something's gonna happen.
"I just found out that we can touch fire! I'm INVINCIBLE!" Edward was about a mile or so from wherever Emmet was, and he saw a billow of smoke rising from there.
SHIT! Emmet was running around rapidly, trying to put out the fire that he started on his arm. Turns out he wasn't invincible.
Edward sighed, then walked over to where he saw Emmet rolling around on the ground trying and failing to put the fire. He was repeating a chant in his head, stop, drop, roll, stop, drop, roll, which gave Edward a minor headache.
Emmet, or what was left of Emmet, suddenly was feasted upon by rabid squirrels that had an alarming fascination with burnt vampires.
Edward took in the scene around him. Emmet was now nothing more than ash, and the squirrels were joined by these weird looking creatures that Edward couldn't really describe. They kinda looked like half turtles, and half lions. You think about it.
He blinked twice, ran to the house, got a cup, ran back to the forest, and proceeded to scoop up the remains of his dear brother. He kicked a squirrel in the face when it tried to gnaw on his shiny shoe. The little bastards around the fallen squirrel were saying things like oh nuuu and damn, is that a hemorrhage I'm seeing?
Edward fled the scene quickly, and when he reached the house, he thought, How the hell am I going to explain this?
That was when he realized he should have gotten water from the river near the house, and put out the fire, instead of just standing there like the sparkly vamp with the oh-so-silky velvet hair that he is.
.
A/N Uh, sorry for killing of Emmet like that if you were a fan of his. That was just a disturbing dream I had, and I couldn't stop thinking about it, so yeah. Review, please!
