Happiness
That is what May saw when she looked at Drew.
Pure and complete happiness of knowing that Drew was near her. Close enough to call out and talk to him.
But after every spur of joy, sadness took over for the fact that she could never have him. For he saw her in nothing more than a rival.
She would always plaster on a smile, simply because that is what she did. May would always fight the pain.
And when he passes by, she'd think about the two of them. On how they met when she was a beginning coordinator and barely knew anything at all. On how she began to grow and rise up to meet Drew head on, and of course on how after time, developed feelings for him in ways other than friend or rival.

She would always dream about them being together, but it always turned out to be simply her imagination running away from her.
May always played the dense role whenever she was near Drew, so he or anybody else would ever catch onto her true feelings. May was hopeless.
She always loved and hated for how she felt. She loved the way she felt around him. The pure glee and love she felt, but at the same time she hated the fact that she knew he could never love her back.
Her problem was simply...
