Okay, so this is my friend Izzy's story. She asked me to post it for her, since she doesn't have an account, so I present to you...

Ordinary Day, A JONAS LA fanfiction

(If you've never heard the song, I suggest you listen to it before reading this. It's Ordinary Day by Vanessa Carter)

Just a day, just an ordinary day, just trying to get by…

He was ordinary, really, under all the rockstar-dom. He was just magical anyway. The way his deep, chocolate eyes sparkled magically as he looked at the blue sky. Macy was noticing this while she sat with Nick by the pool around six pm, watching Joe and Stella flirt-like-just-friends-do and musing on where Kevin went, both assumed trumpet-playing otters were involved.

"Wanna come along with me, for a walk?" Nick asked suddenly, his brown eyes glistening in the LA sun.

And he asked if I would come along…

"Uh, sure," Macy replied, and they both rose from the pool and walked out the gate, unnoticed by the love birds in the pool. The sun was aiming its rays at the sidewalk with full force. The pair walked in comfortable silence, taking in the sights.

That every day he finds just what he's looking for…

The beach appeared out of nowhere, and they mutually agreed to walk beside the cool waves. After a moment, Nick's eyes lit up.

"C'mon Mace!" He said, grabbing her hand. The sensation of skin on skin making both of their hands tingle just a little.

And as he spoke he spoke ordinary words…

"What?" She just barley said before he drug her into the waves. She shrieked as a wave washed up to her waist.

"But our clothes?" She asked, suddenly thinking of Stella's fury if she saw this. To Stella, this would be a crime against fashion.

"You worry too much! Take my hand, live while you can!" Macy smiled and dove into the next wave. Knowing her clothes would be ruined.

As I looked up into those eyes, his vision borrows mine…

As she came up, they locked eyes, and she felt like she could fly, and wondered if this was how he felt everyday. It was getting dark and Macy no longer felt like he was a stranger, she felt like she had known him forever.

Please come with me, see what I see…

The stars were coming out as they were walking home.

Touch the stars for time will not flee…

"Have you ever felt like you could touch the stars?" Nick asked out of nowhere.

"Yes," Macy replied, she was experiencing that now.

"Isn't it getting late?" She asked, hoping her chaperone, Aunt Lisa wouldn't freak out.

"Time won't flee, Macy, we still have some," Nick said, looking up at the stars, they reflected in his eyes, and he looked like a dream, just for a moment.

They walked together to Macy's room in the guest house. Macy said goodbye and climbed into bed and the last thing she remembered was Nick walking out of her room, into the dark.

Macy woke with a start, and remembered what had happened.

Just a dream, just an ordinary dream, as I wake in my bed, and that ordinary boy, that ordinary boy, was it all in my head? Did he ask if I would come along, it all seemed so real…

Macy looked to her bedroom door, and saw Nick Lucas smiling at her.

"Take my hand, live while you can," He said, holding out his hand.

Just a day, just an ordinary day, just trying to get by…

They walked out to get breakfast at the little café the other's had gone too. Nick had said Macy hadn't gotten enough sleep and that he would walk her down later. All the way there, the two of them looked to the sky, thinking about dreams, stars, and swimming with clothes on.

Just a boy, just an ordinary boy, but he was looking to the sky…
