Today was a rare day at the Host Club, they had no costumers scheduled and nothing major to do. So to keep each other occupied they had a study session for the oncoming mid-terms. As Haruhi and the twins were catching up on their math, Hunny was helping Tamaki with a science paper. While at a nearby table, Kyoya was typing on his laptop and Mori was sitting across from him doing his history homework till something caught the large teen's attention.
"There is a spider on your head." Mori calmly stated to the third Ohtori boy.
Looking up at the senior, Kyoya then replied, "What was that Mori-sempai?"
"He said there is a spider on your head." The twins said in unison, their minds focused on their math homework at one of the larger tables, not really paying attention to what they just said till a few seconds later, "A spider???"
By this time Hunny walked away from Tamaki and up to Kyoya and staring at Kyoya's head with wide eyes, "You do have a big fuzzy on your head."
Kyoya looked at everyone, adjusted his glasses with his fingers and went back to typing on his laptop with a classic Shadow King smile starting to grow on his face. By this time everyone was around the table staring, rather rudely, at the big fuzzy brown thing on Kyoya Ohtori's head.
"Why would he have a something like that on his head?" whispered Kaoru to his twin.
Then Hikaru whispered back, "I don't know, but what I want to know is where did he get it?"
"Is that really a live Tarantula Kyoya-sempai?" asked Haruhi who was a tad bit scared at the fact of seeing a dinner plate size, eight legged fuzz ball happily relaxing on her friend's head.
Hunny was all too excited and somewhat bubbly about it, "I love tarantulas, they have cute little eyes and they are so fuzzy! Right, Takashi?"
"Yeah, fuzzy." said Mori with a smirk.
Tamaki was downright stupid and gutsy enough to walk up Kyoya and look at the somewhat sleepy looking little fuzz ball on his best friend's head up close. The spider in turn, seeing Tamaki's big violet colored eyes and pointed nose as a threat, reared in a defensive position. Tamaki on the other hand, seeing the rearing spider, started to think it was just about to jump at him an attack him.
"It's going to get me!!!" screamed Tamaki as he ran as fast as he could away from the big ol' scary spider, gabbing poor Haruhi in the process, and having both of them hiding in Hunny's sleeping couch with the drapes closed for protection.
Feeling the spider crawling towards the front of his head, Kyoya lifted his right hand and waited for the spider to crawl on to it. As it did, he slowly lowered his hand and opened his left palm so that the fuzz ball had another place to stay.
"Be thankful Tamaki, I didn't bring Cindy here today." Kyoya said calmly.
Popping his head out from the drapes of Hunny's sleeping couch. "Um…Kyoya, who's Cindy?" asked Tamaki who said what all the other hosts was thinking.
"Oh," started Kyoya with an all too evil smile as he stroked the spider in his hand like an archetypal super villain, "Why Cindy is my pet scorpion of course."
