Lucas has a cold chapter 1
It was one beautiful Monday morning in tree hill , north Carolina and Lucas Scott was still sleeping " Lucas time for school." Nathan called to his younger brother " Nathan I'm not feeling so good." Lucas said Lucas coughed into his pillow his cough was loud and very deep . " mom Lucas isn't doing too well just after I left Lucas started coughing really badly I feel really bad for him." Nathan started to explain to their mom
Lucas started to come down stairs in his school clothes coughing into his sleeve , Nathan was right his cough was terrible " Lucas will you come here please?" Karen called to her youngest son
Lucas came over and his mom felt his forehead " Lucas you are burning up go and change into your PJs ." Karen ordered
" but mom I have a big test in 3rd hour today it counts for half my grade ." Lucas tried to change his moms mind
" Lucas you are running a temperature and you are staying home ." Karen said
Lucas ran upstairs and changed into his flannel pajamas his mom popped a thermometer into Lucas's mouth "I was right Lucas you are running a temp 102 .7 Lucas you are absolutely staying home." Karen said as she pushed Lucas's hair out of his eyes Lucas was now sneezing
" oh my goodness Lucas you have used almost 4 boxes already." Karen was in shock
" mom I can't help it I'm sick." Lucas said as a deep cough escaped Lucas
"Lucas I know sweetie you just go back to bed and try to sleep off that nasty cough
Nathan was now at school with his friends
" Brady I'm worried about Lucas ." Nathan told his best friend
" Nathan there is nothing to worry about your mom will take care of Lucas . " Brady tried to calm Nathan down
Lucas just finished coughing
" Lucas I'm taking you to the hospital." Karen said
