Well, I'm back from Chicago! Great trip! I looked at SilverUmbra's profile and noticed a new challenge, so here ya go!
THREE DAYS AGO
"Azelf, where do you think you are going?"
Azelf was walking out of the cave. Uxie had caught her sneaking out.
"I need to see Arceus for a sec. It's about this rumor going around about this "red chain"." Azelf looked back, smiling.
"I...need to watch Mespirit?"
The task of watching Mespirit was much easier said than done. MUCH easier said. She was the spoiled one, the jealous type. Another rule? Don't get her angry...
One day, some people decided to enter the cave an mess with Mespirit...
Their bodies were never seen again.
"Yes, you do. I also need you to watch this." Azelf said, floating to Uxie and putting a beautiful blue topaz jewel inside of the yellow pixie's hand.
"You're letting me take care of... your jewel?"
The Jewel was an important part for a Legendary. There were beautiful versions of jewels. So beautiful, there is only one of them in the world.
"This is important. I need you to protect it!" Azelf said, leaving without another word.
"I see... I will." Uxie said, staring at himself in the jewel's reflection.
THREE DAYS LATER
"Oh no, no, no, no, no, no ARCEUS DAMN IT!" Uxie cursed, throwing a cushon to the other side of the room.
Mespirit came in a couple of seconds later, seeing Azelf curled up in a ball, scared.
"What happened?" Mespirit asked Uxie.
"I... I broke it..." Uxie sobbed, putting his head in his hands.
"What?" Mespirit asked, floating down.
She felt a sharp pain in her foot when she stepped down. She looked at it.
Blood.
"What the?" Mespirit wondered, looking at the shards of blue topaz on the ground.
Uxie sighed.
"I was doing some work. Y' know, moving stuff."
"And let me guess... you bumped into the table..."
"Which has the blue topaz on it." The both said at the same time.
"Yep..." Uxie agreed, crying again.
"Listen. I'm the being of emotion." Mespirit attempted to comfort.
"So what?"
"I know that you and Azelf love each other. Hell, a blind magikarp could see THAT..." Mespirit said.
"Ok, so you know, but how will that help?" Uxie asked.
"She'll understand."
"Hey, there is ONE blue topaz jewel that is THAT beautiful in the world. I doubt that she'll understand THAT!" Uxie screamed.
"If you love her, you will do something even better than trying to comfort her." Mespirit said, putting her hand on Uxie and sighing.
She floated to the doorway and to the direction of the table.
"C'mon, let's make her something nice!" Mespirit called.
That talk had completely restored Uxie, he floated happily.
"I need to make her something great. To show that I really love her..."
THAT NIGHT
Azelf floated in the cave, having a sack full of something.
"All right, I'm back!" Azelf called. She noticed something on the ground.
A Jewel.
It was different than her's though...
It was the original blue topaz that it was, but if had mixes of Yellow canary diamond inside of it. Uxie's jewel.
There was a tag outside of it.
Azelf cried in joy and love as she read it.
"I sacrificed mine for you.
-Uxie"
