"Won't you just try it, please?" Ino pleaded to her canine obsessed friend, Kiba. Said girl had baked cookies earlier that day and wanted someone to try them but for some reason everyone had blatantly said 'No!' . She didn't understand why no one would try them; even her strawberry haired best friend downright said that she wouldn't try them for love nor money. Now, as her last hope, she stood before Kiba Inuzuka, pleading him to just take a bite of her cute bunny shaped cookies covered with a light sugary glaze.

He looked down at the blonde haired girl in front of him and frowned, "No."

"What!?" she exclaimed, her eyebrows furrowing and her fists clenching together dangerously, crushing most of the unsuspecting cookies in her small pastry bag "Why!?"

Wow, are you serious? No one has told her yet? He decided to just give it to her straight, "Ino, look, I'm going to be frank with you...Your cooking sucks."

Ino stood there, shocked to say the least, absorbing the rather simple information he had given her. Finally her mouth had formed words, "Really?" she said, almost pitifully, looking up at the tall man that stood in front of her.

He rolled his eyes and sighed, scratching the back of his head ashamedly he said, "Yeah, sorry for having to tell you like that. But the others didn't want to hurt your feelings I guess by telling you straight up-" and then he heard a sniffle. A very quiet one, but he heard it. "Damn…Aw, Ino, don't start crying on me."

The long haired girl quickly turned around and wiped her already fallen tears from her cheeks. "I'm not." She said angrily, but her determined tone was quickly diminished when a sob broke through her sentence.

Kiba sighed and put a hand on her shoulder and leaning over her to look at her face, "Please don't cry…If it helps I will try one of your cookies" Even if I do end up with diarrhea tomorrow. He had a soft spot, he couldn't stand a girl crying, and he resented it.

She turned around excitedly, almost hitting him on the head, "Really!? Oh thank you Kiba!" she said happily, taking out a piece of a previously crushed bunny cookie."Here," she said, putting the cookie up to his mouth.

Blushing, he ate the small piece of cookie from her fingers and chewed cautiously. To his surprise, it was actually good. Well, it was a little bland, kind of like a shortbread cookie, but still good. He smiled and laughed, "Not bad, babe."

Smiling widely, Ino dropped her cookie bag and threw her arms around his middle. "Thank you so much." She said hugging him tightly.

"Yeah." Kiba said distractedly, focusing more of her small figure pressing into his own tall and muscular one.

Ino laughed and let go, picking up her cookie bag. "Your such a sweetie, Kiba. Well, I'm going to try and get the others to try them. Maybe they will this time because you did ," she said smiling and walking back down the pathway away from his house. "Bye Kiba-kun! Thanks again!" she said brightly while walking out of the gate.

He smirked and waved goodbye as he watched her disappear behind the gate of the Inuzuka grounds and into Konohas' busy streets. "Make sure to bring some other sweets besides yourself next time." He murmured and walked back into his house, thinking up some other ways to have his sugar come around more often.
