AHSOKA VS DARTH VADER
Ahsoka looked upon the man she once looked up to. He was a mentor. A teacher. Her master.
But now, he was hidden behind a dark, menacing mask, and had no intention to teach her anything other than what death is like.
They dueled, red and green lightsabers clashing. She had done this before. She had dueled a dreaded assassin, who carried two red lightsabers.
But this time was different. Last time, he was there to help her. Together, they defeated the assassin. Now, they were against each other.
Inside, Ahsoka wanted to scream. She wanted to cry. She wanted to just curl up and cry in a corner. But on the outside, she knew she had to keep her cool.
"Hey, Skyguy," she said. "You look... different. Did you do something with your hair?"
Vader looked at her. At least, she thought he did. No way to tell with that mask.
"You are weak," he said, breathing loudly. "I am strong. Surrender, and I may spare you."
"Sorry, Skyguy, but you always taught me not to bow to the Dark Side. I won't surrender, and I won't join you. Just deal with it."
This seemed to surprise Vader. "Perhaps you are more powerful than I thought, young padawan. You leave me no choice. I give you one last option," he said, pointing his lightsaber at her. "Surrender... or die.
"How about... neither!" Ahsoka struck. They dueled, swinging, as their lightsabers struck one another, shooting sparks. Their lightsabers locked together, and Ahsoka kicked Vader's hand, sending his lightsaber flying.
Ahsoka got a message on her com link. "General, we've destroyed the enemy base on Naboo."
Ahsoka smiled. "Great work, Commander. Send out your fighters and await my signal to destroy this ship. Ahsoka out."
She turned to Vader, who was still standing there, disarmed. "You've failed, Vader."
Vader used the Force, and his lightsaber flew into his hand and ignited. He rose it to strike.
"Not yet."
He swung his lightsaber down, but Ahsoka was quick. She blocked the strike. They twisted and turned, Ahsoka's three long, flowing lekku flew through the air.
She nimbly dodged one of Vader's strikes, and kicked his chest, knocking him over. She turned round, and closed her eyes.
She focused, not on the Force, but actually her hollow montrals. They sent signals to her brain, telling her motion nearby.
They relayed messages: Clear, Clear, Clear, Clear, Clear, Clear, Clear, Clear, Motion Nearby.
Ahsoka ignited her lightsaber, and spun around, not clashing with a lightsaber, but cutting through something. She looked, and saw she had cut off his right hand, and the hand sprouted cut wires.
"Hmmm... Obi-Wan really did leave you in bad shape, didn't he, Skyguy?"
Vader fumed. He grabbed for his lightsaber with his left hand instead, but Ahsoka slashed of his left hand, and his feet, too.
"I did a cut-up job there, if I do say so myself!" Ahsoka teased.
Vader just looked at her.
She rolled her eyes, then ran towards the docking bay. "Commander, send your fighters to clear a path. Have a droid fly an X-Wing over here once you've cleared the way. An astromech, please, no pilot."
"On it's way."
Ahsoka finally reached the bay. They had gotten an X-Wing in there surprisingly quick. She hopped into the pilot's seat. The little yellow astromech droid beeped.
"Good job, R8." As she said it, she thought of little R2. Where was he now? She didn't have time to think about this now. "Let's get out of here, little buddy." She ignited the ship's engines, and took off. "All squads back to base."
"Which one?" she got on her comlink.
"Yavin 4."
