The sun had just set on what was the most shocking day the Saturday family ever faced. To learn that there youngest member was the "ultimate evil" was almost too much to was especially up setting for Drew.
It was just so hard to believe, that the sweet boy she Doc raised for eleven years was this evil beast. Thousands of questions flooded her mind, but there was one that worried her the most. She couldn't help but wonder, was this whole Kur thing her fault? Did she do something or did something happen while she was carrying Zak lead to this? Will he be able to live a normal life? It was questions like that, causing her worry.
She was pulled from her thoughts by someone placing a hand on her shoulder. She looked up from window she was staring out, to see Doc standing behind her.
"Drew," he said with a soft voice," It's time for bed. It's been a long day and you need some sleep."Drew smiled at how concerned her husband was. And told him she would be there in a few minutes. Even though Doc knew it would it be longer, he kissed her good night and went to bed. Leaving Drew alone with her thoughts.
After awhile she decided to go check on Zak, who had fallen asleep as soon as he got on the air ship. She quietly opened his bed room door, and peeked in. He was tossing and turning in his sleep, wich worried her a little. As she got closer she realized he was having a night mar.
'' Zak...Zak sweetie wake up." She said, gently shacking his shoulder. Zak shot up in his bed, a few tears, caused by the night mar, slid down his cheeks.
Drew noticed this and pulled her son in to a strong hug. She managed to calm him down by gently rocking him back and forth, just like she did when he was a baby.
"Do you want to talk about it, Zak?" She asked not knowing what else to say. But she knew that this night mar has to have something to do with Kur.
"Maybe later." he said
"Are you going to be able to get back to sleep?" she asked.
"I don't know." he said.
"You need to sleep, baby."She told him.
"Well, how did you get me to sleep when I was younger?''
Drew thought for a moment, since Zak was hard to get to sleep when he was little she and Doc would do just about anything to get him to sleep. After a minute she recalled the two things that were most effective.
"I'd tell you a story or sing a lullaby."
"Let's go with the lullaby." Zak said, he could faintly recall the lullaby but couldn't fully remember it.
Drew smiled and sang;
You are my sun shine
My only sunshine
You'll never know dear,
How much I love you please don't take my sun shine away
It worked and Zak was fast asleep in his mother's arms just like when he was a baby.
Drew knew that nomater what happens, no matter what Zak or Kur dose, that Zak would always be her baby boy.
