Slender and beautiful and graceful… She's all of those things. It rather disgusts me the way he runs his fingers along her hair. The way she can cause him to drop everything in an instant and never raise his temper. A simple, "My dear!" is her onlyreprimand. The way she gets so close to him and he let's her! He let's her! I could never bring myself to touch him like that, no matter how I might wish to.

I'm thin and awkward at times. My hair has a mind of its own and it tumbles in all direction, certainly not the beautiful angel that he deserves. I'm anything but graceful! I fell into the underground lake just yesterday, causing him to laugh. While that sound was like a music that I'd never heard, it hurt to hear him laughing at me. He saw it instantly and pulled me back into the boat in which I'd tumbled from. He'd never laughed at her.

I can't bear to watch her disturb his work. Why won't he look at me in that way? I don't mean to interrupt him, and yet she does! And whom does he ask to go upstairs? No, not her. Me! He sends me away because my very presence is distracting!I'm terrible sorry, Monsieur le Phantom! Erik, you give her more attention than you'll ever give me. Perhaps if I had a tale and a diamond collar around my neck I'd be less distracting!

Sometimes…

Sometimes I wish I were that damn cat!
