It's All Like A Dream

Prologue

Light and darkness, what really are they? Some people might think that the light represents the good in people, but others say it's just a blinding what you really want to see. Lets look at the darkness, covers everything that has light, wherever you step, and there is a shadow of darkness awaiting your every footstep. Some people say they can run away from the shadows, some people believe that they can escape the lights bright look over them. But what some people don't realize is, that no matter how hard you try, you will never be able to escape your destiny. Because what I tell you, may not be what you want to read, or see, but what you have to know, and feel. For now, I want you to read this story, have this thought in your heart, your brain, and your sight. Destiny cannot be written in a book. Destiny cannot be re-written. Nor can your destiny be changed.

A loud yell was heard from the outside of the old gray and blue house. A house that looked over a couple of centuries old had the smell of old feet and vegetables. The hard wood floors creaked as you walked threw the house into the long hallway. Wooded staircases seemed to lead nowhere. Scary as to where these sets of stairs lead to, a small child's voice was heard singing up the stairs. The sound echoed down the stairs and threw the front door that had been flown open by the wind. Eerie noises where heard as you go up the stairs and around the corner of the black painted walls. The child's voice grew nearer as you took inches closer. The light from the window that was at the end of the long hall way blinded your sight from seeing what was in front of you.

The slight breeze from underneath the door made your legs tingle all the way up your spin. As you walk forward pass the doors you catch a sent of blood passing your nose. The sound of the small girl singing rings threw your ears. Once you reach the door that the noise is coming from the sound of your heart beating starts racing faster. Reaching for the door, you grip the knob and twist it slowly.

Opening the door you put your hand against the door and push it open. With a creak and a loud bang against the door hitting the wall, you see a small child sitting on the flood. "Excuse me…" a voice comes from the girl that is sitting on the flood. Her sweet young childish voice sounds innocent. But you say nothing. You try, but no words can form from your moving mouth. "What do you want?" the girl asks, thou you cannot give an answer to her. With a slight turn of her head, she looks at you with irritation in your tone as she says "Will you not answer me?" you move your mouth and wave your hands, no sounds can come from your lips.

You ask yourself what is wrong. But nothing seems to happen. The girl looks away from you and walks to the open window. "Fine…then I will leave you alone." She said crawling up onto the window ledge. You want to scream, real loud. No! Stop! But there only thoughts…small thoughts that no one could hear. You scream out. Tears stream from your face as you watch the girl throw her arms to her side. "You were mean. Now you must pay. The life you live now. Is only the beginning. You shall find that you humans are just simple creators. And that only the strong will survive. You…" the young girl turned around and looked straight into your eyes. "You Vivian Sky…will find your wings…and protect our world from those who have come to destroy the ones we love…" the girl smiled as she looked away. "Their coming, you better wake up now…" From the window, the young girl fell…
