"That's it!" Ino exclaimed suddenly.
"What is?"Sakura asked, tiredly. It was the afternoon, for god's sake. How could Ino be so energetic?
The girls were sitting on the ground, just thinking about what was happening this few days.
" I'm tired about the way Neji and Tenten seem to be making eyes at each other and never doing anything about it!"
"I'm thinking that you're probably really bored, to be crazy enough to think of angering Neji."
"It would be fun. You know. We lock them up in the room and let them confess."
"Ok, fine." It wouldn't do anything to argue with Ino anyway. Well, that wasn't exactly true, but she did want to see how things turned out. A bead of sweat rolled down the length of her face and fell to the ground. Damn, the weather was hot.
It could be the last thing she ever did, but what the heck.
"Tenten, do you want to come to my house? Ino and I have got some food prepared."
"Sakura-chan, may I come?"
"But you'd be the only guy there! My mum might misunderstand! Oh well, if you really want to, get Neji to come with you."
"Neji…"
"No."
"Neji, why don't you come? I'm sure it'll be interesting." Tenten said pleadingly. "Just for Lee…"
"Fine."
Sakura winked at Ino. So, Neji would come if and only if Tenten asked him to.Interesting…
"Lee, do you want to go for a walk with me? I'm pretty full…"Sakura said. A smile eased in gently, much like an autumn leaf falling to the ground. Very beautiful.
"Of course, Sakura-chan!"Lee said, grinning his trademark grin.
"I'm going out to grab more food. Don't up Sakura's room, alright?"
So saying, she walked out of the room. Then, she locked the room, saying, "And if you break something you'll have to pay for it. So you'd better confess to each other, in which case we can finally let you out."
"Sakura, h-have you seen Neji nii-san?"
"Yeah, he should be locked in my room by now."
"Why?" The girl asked, her eyes wide with curiosity. Sakura giggled.
"Well, Ino decided your cousin needed to tell Tenten how much he loved her."
"What?!"
"Why did you bring Hinata back?"
"I'll explain things later, unlock the door."
"But they haven't…"
"Unlock the door." This time, it came from Hinata's own lips.
"Alright then." Ino replied, but her eyes were full of questions. Sakura nodded.
"Neji nii-san!" Hinata exclaimed, blushing, " Can we go now?"
"Of course", Neji replied, dipping his head slightly to kiss the slender girl gently on the lips." Shall we get going?"
"Wh-What?"
"I know. I never expected them to date either, considering what happened at the Chuunin exams."
Neji flinched roughly, clenching his fists, while Hinata placed her arounds around him." Let's go now," she said. There was a tone of finality in her voice. She stared hard at Sakura and Ino as she led her cousin out the door.
"I'm really sorry, Tenten… but don't worry, we'll find you someone."
"No, it's really okay,"She replied,smiling. So saying, she walked away.
"I'm sorry. I didn't think I would be this late."
"You can make it up to me. What kept you?"
"Ino and Sakura thought that it would be nice for Neji and I to pair up. Of course, they didn't realize Neji was going out with Hinata. Not that I knew, but they're a really interesting couple, don't you think?"
Genma laughed. "I guess so. Now, how about you give me a kiss for making me wait this long?"
"I'll be glad to,"Tenten replied, her voice teasing.
