Summary: The Uchiha Clan was just massacred and new kid just joined the academy who will forge his journey.
It has been barely a week since the massacre of the Uchiha clan at Kohona; the hidden village of the Leaf. Already a young boy with rusty brown hair and storm blue eyes, who was wearing a cyan shirt with the black hidden leaf symbol on the top left breast along with bone coloured shorts was waiting just outside the Hokage's office. Already he was bored and it's already late at night.
He had his ear pressed against the door since the receptionist had already went home to listen to the conversation.
"You must understand Kazuo; I will do everything to keep your son safe if he wishes to become a ninja of the hidden Leaf. But, in light of recent events I cannot guarantee it." An elderly man's voice disclaimed.
"I am reluctant to allow my son to stay. My wife and I had agreed to leave the village with her parents to start a new life outside the village. It's not easy for us to return but I had kept my end of the bargain and now my son insists on learning to become a ninja." Kazou stated.
"Atsushi is always welcome to be admitted to the academy and residence can be organised, if all goes well as no one knows his heritage; he'll won't draw any unwanted attention." The elderly man assured.
"Very well; Thank you Lord Hokage. I can return to take him home if it doesn't work out." Kazou responded.
"I understand it's difficult for you..." The Hokage counselled, then Atsushi heard a throught clearing.
"It's not respectful for you to eaves drop, young man." A man wearing a chunin uniform with a scar across his face rebuked. Just behind him a nervous blonde boy was whisker marks on his face who had a look he was in big trouble.
"Um, sorry. It was my father in there; I'm hoping I can get accepted into the academy." Atsushi explained.
"Hmmm, Well I'm Iruka Umino, I happen to be an instructor at the academy. This is Naruto..." Iruka introduced until the boy stepped forward.
"Naruto Uzumaki! The next Hokage! Believe it!" Naruto interrupted.
"My name is Atsushi Ryujo. I want to be my great ninja like my grandfather." Atsushi introduced. Then the doors opened and the Hokage and Kazuo, who is Atsushi's father emerged.
"Well son, it's agreed. You can go to the academy." Kazuo announced then he noticed Iruka and Naruto.
"Um, Kazuo this is Iruka Umino; he will be one of your son's instructors." The Hokage introduced and as Kazuo and Iruka greeted, the Hokage turned to Naruto. "So Naruto what brought you here?" He asked.
"Um, Iruka sensei caught me skipping class today." Naruto groaned.
"I see, I am wondering if you're serious in becoming the Hokage. So I wonder what your punishment will be?" The Hokage lead on.
"Well since Naruto missed today's class, I guess he can stay behind to help Atsushi catch up." Iruka suggested.
"Then it's settled." The Hokage announced and he turned to Atsushi. "Atsushi, why don't you get your belongs and stay with Naruto until your residence is organised." He suggested.
"Okay!" Atsushi agreed.
"Alright! You gonna like my place! It's neat and you brought ramen with you right?" Naruto cheered as he escorted Atsushi eagerly.
"I'm glad my son will have a friend. I was worried he wouldn't make friends." Kazou observed.
"Naruto never had any friends, I'm glad you son seems to like him." The Hokage agreed.
At the next day, at the academy all the pupils are already seated at their desks causing mischief and Naruto had a big grin on his face which made some of his classmates uncomfortable knowing he's good at pranks. Then Iruka opened the door and entered the classroom and stood behind his desk.
"Alright! Stop fooling around." Iruka ordered and the class settled down and directed their attention to Iruka. "We got a new student today, so lets make him feel welcome here." He announced.
Atsushi walked in and turned to face the class, eager to start.
"My name is Atsushi Ryujo! Pleased to meet you." Atsushi greeted.
"Thank You Atsushi, you take your seat now." Iruka ushered and Atsushi made his way to a free seat next to a girl with blonde hair who was sharing her desk with another girl with pink hair. Then Iruka sat behind his desk and heard a large flatulence noise and the class burst out laughing.
"Naruto!" Iruka called as he pulled out a whoopie cushion from his chair.
