Lance had dreamed of getting married ever since he was little. No matter how many people told him that only girls did that, he bought wedding magazines with his allowance and spent hours planning his dream wedding.

Unlike all dreamers, he knew he had to be flexible. Whoever he was gonna get married too might have some ideas of their own.

Then he met Hunk.

Hunk was the perfect man.

Kind.

Sweet.

Devoted.

It didn't help much when he passed all of his family's tests with flying colours.

No one could figure out how he out-pranked Marjoram and Anna-Marie.

And they never will.

Moving on, Hunk was perfect.

Don't get Lance wrong, they had fought; not all relationships were something akin to fairy tales but that was what made Lance and Hunk so perfect. They solved their fights instead of letting it fester. Lance is too gabby and anxious to do that. Hunk is too kind and understanding to let it.

But when Hunk had pulled that ring box out his pocket, Lance was certain that his brain short-circuited.

Badly.

It had prompted Lance to pull out the ring he had bought as well and Lance remembers that they both cried like little children.

The rest of the team had freaked out and Lance was positive that Shiro's brain short-circuited and fried it when Lance and Hunk told them that they were getting married.

Also- on a side note- Pidge had, in fact, helped both of them find the rings and had, in fact, started cackling like a little maniac the minute they were gone.

The evil little troll.

Back to the point at hand.

Hunk and Lance were honestly excited about planning their wedding.

But they forgot one very important detail.

Ok, make that two.

First, they were still in the middle of a war.

Second, every damn person in the universe seemed to have an idea of what their wedding should be like.

Well, shit.

Goodbye sanity, hello insanity.

Lance would consider it a miracle if they made it to the altar without bloodshed.

Not Hunk's and Lance's of course, but definitely a team members.

Most likely, Pidge's.

Evil little troll.

Well, Lance always wanted to go to hell in a handbasket.

Here's to happily ever after.

Let's just hope they can get there.

Lance would be satisfied if they could make it to the altar.
