Namesake
James Sirius Potter hated his name.
It's not what you would guess, to everyone else he loved being named after his heroes.
But he saw it as something to live up to.
James Potter was practically a world known prankster, marauder, quidditch captain, Transfiguration expert, Auror. All in all a hero.
Sirius Orion Black, only Black in Gryffindor, flirt, prankster, marauder, Auror. Also a hero.
And Potter, how he hated that name. It put so much weight on his shoulders. Potter was the name of Maxwell Potter the vampire slayer, of Paul Potter the world known dueler, of Gavin Potter the inventor. And the name he was expected to live up to the most was Harry Potter the boy-who-lived.
Being descendent to all those great names made him look like nothing. He just wished his family background was simple like everyone else, because namesakes are a pain.
