(authors note: so this is a take on what would happen if they should ever return to earth. Maybe Shaw found her answers, or maybe they got caught up in battle with another species. I think it would be interesting if shaw somehow got affected by being close to the aliens, it changing her DNA somehow. PERHAPS even making her live longer, and age slower. THEN SHE CAN LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER WITH DAVID FOR FOREVER *shot* )

For 10 years, (along with the rest of the crew from the "Prometheus") Dr. Elisabeth Shaw and the android David 8 are listed as "Missing in action" .

Then, Year: 2103,they return.

They arrive in a roughened up and outdated exploration vessel, which they make sure crashes into the ocean so that nobody can find it.

They're picked up by a nearby cruise ship, mistaking them for shipwreck suvivors. The crew has never seen a couple so in tandem with each other, even apart you can tell that one misses the other by the way the womans eyes dart quickly around the room and how the man completly stills whenever she walks through the door, everything else forgotten. And they are a couple, this is one of the first things they confirm when asked if they'd like to share a cabin.

The woman, who only will go by her last name – is short, but lean like an athlete. Her red hair is cropped and wild. There are odd markings along her right arm, almost like tribal tattoos. She acts so tough and hostile that at first, she's mistaken for a mercenary. There's also something strange about her eyes, which are a startling shade of amber.

So it quite clashes at least in apperance when she is seen with that tall blonde man following her around. His hair is always combed to perfection, the first thing he asked for was a packet of blonde dye and he does everything in a very precise and correct manner, like a dentist or a doctor almost.

. The secretive glances they share are many, and they don't like eating with the others onboard and sometimes they stay awake until sunrise. The cook even swore once that, when he ran into Miss Shaw one night her eyes glowed like a cat's. But that is mostly discarded as one of the cooks imaginations, which nobody is surprised by.

The polite blonde, David – even apologizes to the cook, explaining that Miss Shaw had a rare eye condition which might have startled him in the dark.

Whenever she calls his name, he always comes – like a dog on a leash, no matter if he's already in the middle of helping the staff carry a table or in the middle of a conversation. Someone calls him whipped for this, which earns a dark glare from both of them.

They depart from the ship in Jamaica, only carrying a small duffel bag with both their belongings in it. The captain watches them go, glad to have them off the ship for reasons he cannot explain. He knew they had secrets, as a captain he needs to be able to tell things like this in case of mutiny. Making sure nobody is around to watch, he brings up the small metal pin they left behind close to his eyes to survey it. It says "Weyland Corp. – Y, 2093"

With little hesitation, he drops it into the ocean. Some things are much better not knowing.
