I feel a stab of pain in my heart. Kira has gotten me at last.

Time slows down as I fall out of my chair only to have Light catch me.

Light stares into my eyes and then he smiles. But he's not the Light, now he's the despicable Kira.

I grin. I can't help it. I've won. But he's smiling! How can he be smiling? He leans up and kisses me softly. "J'taime " he whispers with his last breath. Then I whisper back, even though I know he's gone, "I Love you too L."
