February 17th, around 8:00 pm: As I sit in the train, I think of what happened in the last 6 days. On February 11th, my18th birthday, I had received six things from my Mom and Dad: a 3DS, an mp3 player, an assortment of 3ds games, 10,000 Bells, a train ticket to a place called Deadwood, and the deed to a house there. On the 26th, I boarded the train, from the town I used to live in, Santa Fe, New Mexico, to Deadwood.

At that point I had with me a suitcase, which had a pair of pants, 2 shirts ("Oh, there will be a tailor there, you don't need that many clothes"), my Wii, Some games, 2 Wii remotes and Nunchucks ("You'll find someone there to play it with"). Other than my suitcase, I had a messenger bag, which had my laptop in it. I also had my wallet, which had my ID and my debit card, my mp3 player, and some nice over ear headphones, my aforementioned 3DS and games, and that's about it.

As we were nearing my stop, someone said "Hey, where are you going?" to me.

"Oh, uh, Deadwood" I responded, turning my head to see a cat had asked me the question. "I'm moving there. My name's Sir. What's your's?" I added.

"My name's Rover. I know, it's a strange name for a cat, but I like it." He said.

"I like it," I said "Where are you going?" I asked.

"Oh, nowhere... I just like riding trains..." He began to ramble on about trains, and how they work, and other such things.

"So, how did you get stuck with a name like Sir?" He asked eventually.

"Oh, my parents wanted me to be 'gentlemanly', so they named me a gentlemanly name. It was either Sir or Rutherford, and I like Sir better, so I'm glad they picked it."

"Now aproaching Deadwood" The conductor said.

"Well, be seeing you," Rover said, "Say hi to Jason for me"

"Who's Jason?" I began to ask, but the door closed on me before I could finish.

The town of Deadwood was a small one, with around 17 houses (but only four of them with animals living in them), a town hall with a built in post office, a town gate, a tailor, one bus stop, a train station (it was such a small town, I didn't think it would need one), a museum with a built in cafe (they really strive for the 2-in-1 stuff here), and a small shop by the name of Nook's Cranny.

I needed a map to find my house, so I went to the town hall. It took me a while to find it, and when I did, it was already around 9:00.

"Hey, are there any maps here?" I asked.

"Why do you need one?" Snapped a pink pelican wearing a name tag thet read Phyllis.

"Umm... I just moved here and can't find my house."

"Well, they are next to the ABD (Automatic Bell Dispenser)"

"Umm... Thanks?"

"Whatever, Tall, Pale, and Freaky."

I had been mocked about my height for years. It happens when you seven feet tall.

"Go fuck yourself," I replied.

"It's not my break yet."

It was then that I decided to stop the conversation and left before it got even more uncomfortable. Outside, I walked to my house in the darkness, wondering if anything was gonna pop out the bushes or trees unexpected. I eventually found my house, and managed to get to the bed before 11:00.

"Well, first day in town, I got hit on by a pelican... At least I think so... I can't wait for tomorrow, when I can meat al the other people in this town. You know all ten of them," I said to myself. I fell asleep after that (on the floor), thinking about how I needed a bed.
