Hello, this is FictionStoryLover and I present you the first chapter of Werewolf/Eragon crossover titled Lone Hunter.

A boy, almost man, crouched in the bushes, near the trunk of a thick tree. The massive trunk would have amazed anyone who had never laid eyes on the trees of Dyrewood. But not the youth, who scanned the wild array of vines, trees, and bushes, not much different from the bush in which he crouched. A large animal walked boldly up to a bush, some 20 feet away. "Finally! Some luck!"he thought. For four days he had hunted in the cursed woods, to be with pathetic game. Animals not worth his time. Animals he could probably eat alone. His supplies dangerously low he had decided to give it 1 more hour and then start to head for the closest market to sell his game. "Yes, this will be worth plenty. Maybe enough to last my mom and brother a month." He mused. Slowly, he strung his bow, and knocked an arrow. With surprising skill, he aimed the arrow head at the deer's head. As he knew would happen, the arrow sang and impacted the deer's head, killing it instantly. What he didn't know would happen, the arrow burst into flames the moment it left the arrow rest, leaving him staring dumbly at what he had done.

Eragon stood on the poop deck of The Freedom, looking on, into the void of the endless sea. Except it wasn't the endless void anymore, it was land. For months, the elves, Saphira, and he had sailed the oceans, trying to find a home to raise the dragons. And maybe, they had found one. Blödhgarm joined him.

"A sight for sore eyes eh?" He said.

"Yes,yes it is." Eragon replied.

"What do you think, will it do?"

"Maybe, but not this close to shore. Look there is a dock there. To many people. We will be sighted."

"Hmmm. Looks like our travels have only led to more disappointment."

Eragon smiled.

"Sure seem that way."

"What is so amusing?"

"Just thinking of some words of wisdom I have heard."

Eragon's tone indicated Blödhgarm will not receive an answer to his next question.

"Should we head for the dock?" Blödhgarm asked.

"Eragon, I can see a large forest North-east of your position. The trees should provide us decent cover." Thought Saphira.

"No, to many witnesses. Let's go North-east, Spahira can see a forest near by."

"Are you sure? We do not know what creatures could be there. We might prefer to take our chances with mere humans, then the wild creatures of the forest."

Eragon winced at the mention of "mere humans". It could be easly forgotten that he to, was a human. He maybe a rider now, and his strength rivaling that of any elf, but he was still human.

Yes, I am sure. Set course for land, Blödhgarm, we reached our new home."
