Zoey walked in the forest trying to find her chain that she lost. It was very important to her, since Kenny gave it to her for her birthday. It was just last week.
Winning against Kenny in the grand festival, Zoey shook his hand nervously. "Um… Nice battle" She smiled. "Yeah" He smiled back. She blushed a little, his smile was so handsome on his perfect face… What was she thinking?
"Happy Birthday, Zoey!" He chuckled as he saw her confused face. How did he know it was her birthday? "How did you know?" She asked him. "Dawn told me" She nodded. He smiled, "Here! I caught this for you!" He put a poke ball in her hand and ran away, not wanting to see her face when she called the pokemon out.
She stared at his running figure then at the poke ball. She called out the mysterious pokemon. The glowing red light was turned into a white light and then a pokemon. It looked like a little turtle. "Squr! Squirtle!" Chanted the turtle.
Around the pokemons neck was a silver chain. She bent down, in cursive a name was written, 'Zoey'. She looked at the way Kenny ran off to. No boy. She turned back to the Squirtle and took off the chain and hooked it around her neck.
Zoey gulped, what if she didn't find it? She called out her Squirtle, "Can you help me find the necklace Kenny gave me?" She asked it. It nodded and started to room around as did the coordinator.
Not too far away, Kenny was training his Empoleon for the next contest. Sighing, Kenny walked to his penguin to have step on something. He lifted his foot. Zoey chain. He looked at it in disbelief. Did she throw it out? If she did, why? Did she not like it?
He picked it up and shoved it in his pocket. "Return" He was upset and didn't want his pokemon to see him like this. He sat on a near by rock, thinking if she liked it or not.
Zoey was searching for her prized position. She saw a brunette sit on a rock. Kenny. She could ask him but would he get upset that she lost what he bought himself? She sighed, this wouldn't go well.
"Kenny?" She looked at him desperately. He got off the rock and looked down to her. "Have you seen… the necklace you gave me?" She asked him barley over a whisper, looking down at her feet. Kenny's eyes widened. She didn't throw it out?
He walked up to her and lifted her chin to look up to her. She blushed, what was he doing? He searched in his pocket, found the silver chain, and hooked it back around her. Zoey smiled, she got back her chain. Kenny couldn't help but melt into her pair of beautiful eyes.
She blushed as she saw sparks in his eyes. He slowly leaned down and licked her lips, she gasped. He took the opportunity to slip in her mouth searching for her tongue. Zoey slowly closed her eyes and kissed back. He linked his arms around her waist and pulled her closer, deepening the kiss. She slid her arms around his neck.
They pulled back panting, Kenny's forehead on top of hers. "I love you" He whispered, she smiled. "I love you too!" Now all their questions were answered.
