With Bad Girls coming to an end, I thought I would finally post this. This was a plot bunny that wouldn't go away after seeing the many pictures of Jamie playing golf. It will be a short story, a bit of fun and I need to point out, my golf knowledge ends on a crazy golf course so any golf terminology comes from Google.

CPOV

Golf, I would hardly class it as my favourite past time, especially with the company I'm here with today. Good business is what Ros told me. I would like to see her walk the course in the heels she wears everyday but I suppose playing a game of golf with the Senator once in a while cannot hurt, especially if it helps make the shipments of aid that are sent out through the port, move a bit quicker.

"Gentlemen, my apologies for the wait" The club manager said, coming over to us as we waited on the practice green. "The caddie that was assigned to you Mr Grey has unfortunately taken ill so I have asked a member of our club if they could step in. She shouldn't be too long."

"She" I asked.

"Yes, she. Here she is now."

I turned towards the door to the clubhouse as a young woman appeared. Surely, he's kidding that she is to carry my bags around for the day. She looked strong, don't get me wrong but I think it should be me who's carrying her bag.

The closer she walked towards us, the more her features became clear. Her ocean blue eyes, the little freckles on her nose but what drew me in as she stood in front of us, was the beautiful smile she gave as the manager kissed her cheek.

"Can we swap" Blandino mumbled quietly, paying more attention to her ample breast than her beautiful face.

"No" was all I said before stepping in front of him to greet my caddie for the day.

"Anastasia this is Mr Grey and Senator Blandino. Gentlemen this is Anastasia Steele, she has been a member of this club since she was knee high to a grasshopper and I'm grateful that she can stand in today."

"Gentlemen, it's lovely to meet you" she said politely before walking to my side.

"Are you sure you're going to be able to carry those clubs around the course" Blandino said as Anastasia rolled her eyes.

"Believe me Senator, I'm very capable of carrying the bag but as we have a large course to go around, why don't we take the cart's as well. Mr Grey if you will follow me."

I followed in silence, taking in her gorgeous figure as she walked in front of me, ably carrying my bag. She had shorts on that fitted like a glove, leading to perfect long legs. A t-shirt that rode up as she lifted the bag higher on her shoulder, showing a sliver of skin. A jacket also hung over her arm which is obviously for if it gets colder on the course. One word to describe my caddie today, beautiful. Maybe today might be more enjoyable than I first thought.

"You were the last person I expected to meet when I came here today" I told her as she drove us to the first hole.

"Were you expecting a big muscly man Mr Grey, who can throw your bag about. I have muscles I just don't go around showing them" she smiled.

"No and it's Christian, I just mean that I have never seen any female caddie's here before."

"Do you come here often" she asks me.

"Only when I can't get out of it. I work in the city but my second in command thought that having the Senators ear would be good for business."

"Ah, a business meeting" she smiled when I nodded. "There are a few female caddie's here. It can be a lot of fun if you're partnered with the right professional. If I had gotten the Senator though, I would've buried him in the bunker on fifth, still might do if he continues to stare at my breast."

"You don't like people looking at you" I asked, laughing.

"It depends who's looking" she said as we finally stopped and got out.

...

"Oh, come on. Give me the right club" Blandino complained when he sliced the ball.

"That was the club you asked for Sir" His caddie told him, probably trying not to hit him with the bag. Ana as she told me to call her was stood by my side, quietly giggling at what was happening in front of us.

"Can I have a" I never finished my sentence as Ana placed the club I wanted into my hand. "Thank you."

"You're welcome" she said as I stepped forward to finally take my shot.

My shot thankfully hit straight down the green, not reaching its target but I was closer to it than Blandino.

"The club manager said you were a member of the club, how did you end up being my caddie today then" I asked her as we left Blandino behind and went to find my ball.

"When I was in college, they were looking for caddie's at the local golf club. Having spent so much time on the green since I was a child, I think I impressed them with my knowledge and they offered me the job straight away. I wanted to get a job so I didn't have to call my Dad every time I needed something. It didn't offer a lot but it was enough to pay some of my bills if I worked over the weekends when it was really busy."

"You have been playing since you were a child" I asked.

"My Dad loves golf; my Mum hates it" she chuckled. "He used to bring me with him on the weekends, give my Mum some time to herself."

"Were you that much of a problem child that she needed a break" I asked as we reached my ball and was waiting for Blandino to get his act together and meet us.

"No" she laughed. "My Dad worked long hours during the week while my Mum worked from home as well as looking after me, Saturday was family day where we would all spend it together and if Dad could, he would try and get a round of golf in on Sunday. He brought me once when I think I was about four and I loved it, cried when he took me home again."

"You love golf that much" I smiled down at her.

"We lived in a large apartment building in Seattle, I think it was more being able to run about on the course that I loved, that and having Daddy daughter time."

"This course needs maintaining, I could hardly see the ball" Blandino complained, interrupting our conversation.

"That's what happens when it lands in the rough. This course is beautiful to play, if you know what you're doing" Ana told him.

As he finally hit the ball once more, we were finally on the way to the next hole, once I had taken my shot which happily rolled in.

"I thought you said you didn't play often Grey" Blandino asked me.

"I don't, I must have a lucky caddie" I said before following Ana to the cart.

As each hole passed, my luck continued to grow. Thankfully Ana didn't bury Blandino in the sand on 5th but I think his caddie would've happily done it.

Blandino and I discussed my business or more of what my business can bring to the people of Seattle and the surrounding areas as we slowly made our way around the course. As long as he doesn't put any red tape on the shipment of aid that are sent out then I have no problems with what he's proposing.

"How old were you when you started up your business, what" she asked me when I had stopped. "Sorry you don't have to answer that."

"I apologise, it's just usually everyone in this city seems to know every detail of my life."

"Surely they can't know every detail and I don't go sticking my nose into other people's business, I'm sorry if I overstepped asking you."

"No Ana, it's fine. Sometimes I feel like I live in a goldfish bowl, the details of my life, documented for everyone to see. It's rare to find someone who doesn't know those details" I smiled.

"I would rather hear the truth from the person, than read the gossip in a magazine."

"Twenty-one, I was twenty-one when I started my company. My grandfather who was a businessman himself helped me with the start-up money which I quickly paid back once GEH was up and running. He asked me when I was younger what I wanted to do and the first thing I told him was to have my own company. I always enjoyed to take things apart when I was little, see if I could put them back together again, better than before. That is what I do with my business now."

"Take them apart and put them back together again" she asked.

"Yes, part of my business is I buy failing companies and either work to save it as it is or break it up and make those parts work on their own. If I can't do anything, it's sold."

"I think you might have worked with my Dad" she said, surprising me.

"How so" I asked her.

"A few years ago, my father expanded his company, purchasing another one called Lincoln Timber and I'm sure it was your company he bought it from. I don't think the original owner was too happy as he came around shouting and swearing the day my Dad turned up there to take over."

"Yes, I remember. Lincoln was an old friend of my parents who thought he could drink and gamble away the profits from his company. He came to me for a loan, which I gave him because it was a good profitable company at the time and would continue to do so if managed properly. He said he wanted to expand but I found out too late that not one penny went into the company."

"He wasn't a nice man, practically spat in my face when I refused to move so he could get into one of the offices, I had never seen my Dad so angry before. Dad sold the lot on and moved the business and contents over to where his business is now."

"What does your Dad do with the lumber" I asked her.

"He supplies it to some of the building companies in the city, your brothers is one of them I think"

"It really is a small world" I laughed. "Do you work with him."

"No, I'm a fiction editor for a small publishing company in Seattle. Well apart from today, today I'm moonlighting as a caddie once more."

I had enjoyed speaking to the young woman at my side and she definitely knew her stuff when it came to golf. As we continued around the course, I would've been happy for it to be just the two of us, without the grumbling man in front.

"Do caddie's get paid a lot" I asked her as we waited for Blandino once more.

"Today, is nothing, free. I'm doing this as a favour to Mike who you met earlier. Most caddie's it's the tips from the golfer that makes a difference from their basic pay. Unless you are with a major professional, then you can earn big money."

"Free, no. I have to pay you for putting up with that miserable windbag" I said.

"No, it's on me. Getting out of the city for a bit and enjoying the peace is more than enough payment, besides I was coming here for a game anyway. I can do that later."

"Ana, I have to" I complained.

"No, you don't Christian, you really don't. Not everything in life has to be paid for. My time is something I give freely especially when I would've been on this course anyway."

I shook my head, following this remarkable woman from hole to hole seeing the end that was in sight. It's funny when I was coming here today, I was looking forward to being off this grass as soon as possible and back into the city again. Now I could happily walk this course once more, or ride it with Ana.

"You still going around again" The manager asked Ana when we had reached the club house.

"If the rain holds off" she smiled.

"Who won" he asked. He could probably tell from the smile on my face and the scowl on the Senators. Just because he's elected by this city, I wasn't going to kiss his arse and let him win.

"Grey are you doing this next weekend" he pointed to the poster that had been framed by the reception, announcing the upcoming amateur tournament next weekend to raise money for a children's hospice in the city.

"I'm not sure" I said, not letting on that I didn't know anything about it.

"Well, if you're busy then maybe I can use your caddie when I play, give me some of that luck" he said, looking at Ana who took a step to the side, bumping into me.

I held her hips for a second, looking into her eyes.

"Sorry" she said quietly before taking a step away.

"Are you taking part" I asked her.

"I will be there, taking part no. Too many egos on the course all trying to outdo each other and then falling over each other in the bar later. It's men only, it wouldn't do to show them how a woman could really play."

"Ana" Mike complained.

"I know, it's been played for generations, men of all shapes and sizes taking part. It is a good atmosphere though, if you ignore those individuals who seem to forget that they're playing for a charity."

"Ok, I will play."

"Really" Mike asked excitedly, going to get me a sigh up sheet.

"Be my caddie" I asked Ana.

"It's not allowed."

"The golfer has to be male, surely they can't dictate what sex the caddie is."

"They would probably try."

I filled the sheet in, filling in my donation at the bottom and just as importantly put Ana's name down as my named caddie.

Mike read it over, reaching the part I was waiting for as he looked between Ana and myself but placed his signature on the bottom too.

"If you think Blandino can moan, wait until I step on the course" she smiled.

"Let them complain."

...

I was asked to take a drink in the bar but with Ana no longer by my side, my interest had waned. As I walked to the car, Taylor waiting for me, Ana was just putting her clubs in the back of one of the golf carts.

"Do you have any tips for me" I called to her.

"Walk the course backwards, see from the hole to where you tee off, take in what is around you that you might or will hit if you're a certain Senator" she said smiling.

"Really, that works."

"No idea, but it's a nice walk"

I smiled, hearing her laugher as she drove to the first. Golf had definitely become more interesting.

Thank you for reading.
