AN: The Avatar series doesn't belong to me.
If anybody is actually reading my other fic, I know I haven't uploaded anything since December. I am still working on it, so don't worry. I know I really shouldn't be starting a new fic without updating my last one, but I will get to it. Promise.
I don't know how to describe this story. I wanted to make a Jinora and Ikki sisterly fic because I don't see a lot of those out there. There's lot of feels, sadness, psychological struggles, family problems, and brief violence/mild sexual implications. Read at your own will.
Some chapters might be crazy longer or shorter than others, like this first chapter. There will be 15 chapters total. Enjoy.
Please review... Please.
It was another warm day outside at Air Temple Island. A light wind gently carried falling leaves away from their trees. Birds and spirits can be seen all around, perched on roofs and branches, or simply floating around. The island's inhabitants should be indoors eating lunch at this time, but not for three young airbenders who were just returning home on the eldest's flying bison.
"MEELO! YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!" Ikki screamed at her younger brother. He had exited the saddle with a loud, and rather large, fart-bending technique he invented.
"I'm only human, woman! I can't hold it in forever." He defended.
"YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO DO IT DIRECTLY ON ME!" She screamed back as their argument continued.
It was then the two's older sister jumped down and took notice of a tanned young teen approaching them using a matching wing suit. Jinora abruptly turned back to her younger siblings.
"Will you two quiet down. We just got home. Can I please have some peace?"
"Yeah. Can't you wait until after a minute has passed to start yelling?" Kai laughed as he arrived to greet the trio.
"It's not my fault Ikki can't control her temper." Meelo insisted. He turned to his second oldest sister as she floated down off the bison. "Ikki, you need to learn some self-control!" He pointed at her.
"Me? You're the one who-" She began to yell, but was cut off by an annoyed Jinora.
"Please! Some peace!" She walked away with Kai, tired of listening to another fight. She had to deal with the bickering for the past two weeks while away on their trip. Some quality time with her boyfriend should ease her pounding head.
Ikki, now visibly angry at her siblings, turned her head to look at Meelo. He smiled and let out another fart. Ikki's loud and angry scream could be heard from a long distance away.
In the evening, Tenzin and his family ate dinner together. All was calm, until Tenzin felt his sleeve being tugged on my his second daughter. Ikki was still extremely aggravated by Meelo.
"Daddy, can you please tell Meelo to stop bothering me all the time?" She asked.
Meelo looked up from his plate. "I never did anything!" He defended as he held out his fork, flinging some of his food out of his mouth and on to Ikki's face.
She balled up her fists and held out one of her hands in his direction. "SEE?!" She yelled, growing tired of being walked on by her siblings.
Tenzin closed his eyes and sighed to himself. "Now, kids, we have all been invited to President Raiko's Independence Day celebration at City Hall tomorrow and you all need to be on your best behavior. No arguing or fighting. Understood?"
"Yeah, Ikki." Meelo grinned.
She scowled at him and propped her cheek on her hand.
Like I said, really short. I'll try to make future chapters longer.
