Arthur glared across the room at the other man that was getting in the way of Arthur's ideas by rejecting all of them with gusto.
The other man was currently leafing through the general idea of this law before he raised his hand to reject it with cool, quiet athority.
Francis Bonnefoy was determined that any inadequate law never passed, and prided himself at being able to distinguish a valid law and an invalid one.
He gazed across, startled at the almost complete societal rebellion, good looks of the other man; messy hair straightened to the best of the owner's ability and an recognizably British suit lacking the complete formality of the situation while not appearing in the slightest bit informal.
It was a good look for the gentleman, and Francis had to gulp back against the apparent clogging of his throat.
Francis, however, did not know the other's name, nor did he realize that a majority of the bills that he had been rejecting had been written and whole heartedly supported by the other.
Arthur argued back with ease, and they got in to a massive argument that had them temporarily shooed out to 'cool off' or possibly apologize.
They argued over the bills before they found a common ground, and started to get along.
Arthur and Francis refused to admit that that dull meeting had gotten them together.
