So Sweet

Story one of five of my owed Valentines packages, and a congrats to the Doccubus fandom for winning the poll. tabzy18 's prompt was 'sweet'. I hope you like it!
Doccubus-sweet
Lauren wasn't expecting to see Bo standing there before her on Valentine's day. Yes, the darker woman had told others that they were together in a monogamous way, but part of Lauren knew that this couldn't last. Bo was a succubus, and as a human, Lauren couldn't help her in the way she once could as her doctor. This made her worry about the future of their relationship. She didn't say anything, but Bo wasn't stupid. She knew that there was something wrong. Perhaps that is why the succubus was being softer with her, doing things for her like taking her coat, actually cooking dinner, and so on. When asked about it, the brunette said, "Well, yeah I saw that you were down and stuff, but babe, did you forget what this Thursday is?"
This had paused Lauren, because of course she didn't forget. There were countless ads out there that wouldn't let her. Lauren just didn't think that Bo celebrated it. In fact Kenzi had her own 'anti' traditions that Laren was sure Bo participated in. Then it clicked. "You want a good Valentine's gift," she said. Bo grinned. "Look in the closet."
Kenzi, having heard this, called, "But you just came out!"
Bo ignored her friend and went to the closet where the brand new leather jacket hung. "And I just got you chocolate," she said, running her fingers over the sleeves before taking the jacket off of the hanger.
"Just chocolate?"
"In her defense, it is a lot of chocolate."
"Chocolate and sex," Bo said.
"You're so sweet," Lauren said somewhat sarcastically.
