A/N: This poem was written by my younger bother in response to a challenge I gave him. For as long as I can remember, my younger ones have had a tendency to copy any new creative habit I pick up. When I decided to write songs, they wanted to write songs. When I wanted to write stories, so did they. Now, I'm into poetry and my brother was trying to prove he could do it better so I told him to write a Naruto based poem. This is the product of that challenge. Enjoy and review so I can tell my brother whether his poem is good or not.
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto and fortunately for the Naruto community neither does my brother. I do not want to imagine what he would have done if he did.
The sky turns red
We were once friends
Thinking back on what we once were
But something grabs my attention
What's this dark feeling that burns within me?
Is this joy or pain
It taste like sweet revenge
Strike after strike
Rain starts to fall
It is over
I feel the pain
But my quest locks me in chain
My body belongs to the devil
Revenge is my life
But in my sober heart
It clicked on me
We were once friends
A/N: My brother's favorite character is Neji but mine is Sasuke so he wrote on Sasuke. My sister's favorite character is Gaara; she loves his desert coffin technique. Please R&R for the sake of my brother. Constructive reviews will be greatly appreciated.
