Hey guys…it's been eons…decades….it's been a long while since I posed something on here. So, I'm going to catch you guys up on what has been happening in my life for you can understand why I haven't been posting like I should have been.
First off, let me say that it wasn't my intention at all to stop posting. I love writing and sharing my stories with you guys! I love hearing what you guys have to say about my stories, positive or bad. I love the idea that something I've written could have the potential to make people happy and have something look forward to… that was something my stories did for a couple of people. But I just didn't have the motivation that I used to have. Honestly, when Nevermore came out, I just felt like I didn't have to write anymore, if that makes any sense at all. Maximum Ride is a series that I grew up with. I've known the book since 7th grade, for me, that's a long time. So for it to just stop, it was kind of devastating for me. So, I tried to write, but I just couldn't. But for me, it wasn't that big of an issue, because I wanted to focus on my own work anyways. I know the Fanfictions I've written were my own ideas, but the title "Maximum Ride" isn't, and never will be mine. So, I've just been writing my own things.
Then I also wanted to focus on school, which I'm glad I did because I graduated in the Class of 2014! I also just finished my first year of college, so instead of telling you guys, 'I'm a freshman' I can happily tell you guys that I'm a sophomore in college now! It's crazy, honestly the years just fly by and you don't even realize it.
But anyways, I wanted to come back to Fanfiction, because first of all, Maximum Ride Forever is out! I mean, I'm not getting my copy until tomorrow, but still. Also I'm on my summer break, so I will have plenty of time to write. And finally, my major is Creative Writing, so I suppose this is excellent practice for my classes.
I just wanted to let people who read my stories know what was going on. I want to continue to write stories for you guys, but please just be patient. I will be working on a schedule for my posting. So instead of having the reviews determining when I update, I can just do it weekly and on my own terms.
