Drabble — cue word: Octopus
Author's Note: This takes place during Breaking Dawn. The Volturi are after Renesmee and Edward and Bella have to hunt separately to ensure Renesmee's safety. Renesmee is being fed warmed bags of blood and she is not satisfied and wishes to hunt with Edward.Securing the child's wriggling torso, Bella held Renesmee after Edward left to hunt. "You know it's not safe to go outside," Bella cooed. Renesmee touched her mother's face, fingers hot against the stone skin. Suddenly Bella was standing by a window, longing to feel fresh air in her face. Renesemee let go and Bella's thoughts returned to the living room. Releasing her grip from her daughter's waist, Renesmee took off. Instantly Bella had the escapee back in her stone arms. Emmett walked in and saw the pair's struggle, scratching his head. "Charades, huh? Let me guess. You're an angry octopus!"
