Written for Amy (XxrandomxX) for her birthday :)

And even though she's not his, he still calls her beautiful.

She's happy, well, kind of. Let's just say that over the last few weeks, Parvati has excelled in acting. No one ever notices though, and well, that's how she likes it. It's nice being invisible. Being in the background is alright - even if it is being second best to her sister. Padma's always been good to her, really. She can't help but be the smartfunnyamazing one. The only thing isn't is the pretty one, and that's only because they're identical twins.

Padma's always had everything. She's the one that everyone goes to first. Unless it's to ask where Lavender Brown is, of course. Otherwise it's always the same. Padma? Oh, sorry, Parvati. Have you seen your sister? It should bother her, but it doesn't - not really. Parvati's content settling in the background.

It's not that bad. She's got Dean. Dean makes her happy. He smiles at her and tells her everything that she should hear from everyone else. He kisses her neck and whispers Parvati, you're very sexy, you know that, don't you? I'm so glad you're mine. That should bother her too, but it doesn't. Nobody notices her anyway. It's nice to be appreciated.

He watches her from a distance. Oh, he knows that he's bordering the stalker line, but who cares? I mean, really, no one really cares about her, do they? Not enough to notice, at any rate. Except him. He watches while that Thomas bloke runs his hands over her, and how she... It's disgusting. Thomas doesn't deserve her. Granted, he probably doesn't either. He'll never have her, he knows that much. She's too good for him. He's just another Slytherin - overshadowed by Draco. She's... well, she's Parvati.

And even though he knows all of that, he still wants to hold her in his arms and sing, You're beautiful, Parvati. And I swear to Merlin I'll never let you go.
