"You're stone-cold brilliant, I swear, you really are."

The Doctor looked up at The Master, emotion showing in his eyes. His old friend looked down at him, and his expression was suddenly different, one of surprise, and, was that, feeling? "Well then. That's all I needed to hear." He said, grinning at the look of incredulity on the Doctor's face. "You have control of the entire world, and you're going to call it off because I said you're brilliant?" he asked, his tone changing to one of exasperation. "No, of course not!" he said. The Doctor looked at him, wary. Surely he was going to ask for something important, his TARDIS location, something like that.

"Repeat after me."

Here we go.

"I love you."

The Doctor looked at him, stunned, shocked, and, well, more than a bit flattered. Brown eyes wide in shock met green ones full of emotion and hope.

"I love you too."

And as he said it, he realized that he meant it, had felt it for a long time, but it had been pushed down. But now, their faces inches away, he could not deny it, and he suddenly felt it with all his heart. The Master leaned down, and their lips met, a kiss full of emotion, mutual longing, and their shared suppressed feelings being brought to light, and it was wonderful, it was bliss, it was- ending too soon.

The Doctor looked up at him, but knew it was for the best, they needed to breath. And there was the whole, you know, world in chaos sort of thing. "Now then, better go fix the human race and stuff." said The Master, walking off. "But I am thinking about leaving you all strapped down like that…"
