Justin opened his eyes with a yawn. Today he had several things planned for starters he was going to hang out with Speed Demon and he had to remove some ice that had been sitting in his fridge. Most likely anyway. Yep, Justin sure had a lot to do today.
He had forgotten to close his mouth so he did that first. Justin checked a watch near his dumpster that said it was about eight twenty one a.m. That should have been plenty of time to let the other mutants wake up. Justin grabbed a bottle of water before heading out.
He climbed down into the sewers, to a secret part only the mutants knew about. There Justin could see an array of different mutants big and small. Of course the first one he could spot out easily was his closest friend, April's "mom." Most people stood far away from her but Justin thought she was nice.
He gave his bottle of water to her. She giggled and waved him goodbye with her six arms. While passing Justin saw another one of his friends, Ice Cream Kitty. He politely asked if she knew where Speed Demon was.
"Meow," said Ice Cream Kitty, pointing to a part of the sewer with very nasty water. Justin shook his head up and down and meowed back at Ice Cream Kitty. Justin could see Speed Demon sitting down with his wheels in the water. "Hey," said Justin.
"So what do you want to do today?" "Um," said Speed Demon. "How about we go outside today?" Justin wore a nervous expression. "Uhm don't you not wanna get caught?" "I'm a car," said Speed Demon. "You can ride in me, I won't infect you." "I just want to see some daylight."
Justin and Speed Demon spent that whole day driving around and having fun. They never got caught.
