A/N: I thought once I got through exams life would get easier, but apparently not. I've been busy and now I feel terribly guilty for pushing Melleh to bring back the drabbles and yet I've only managed to write a few. Now I'm just trying to catch up.

Disclaimer: I own nothing but the cookies. And yes Oatmeal raisin is my favorite too!

London

London was absolutely beautiful, but the hustle and bustle of the big city can be a bit overwhelming for a newcomer, particularly for Elizabeth Swann.

She had just moved to London from Port Royal, leaving behind every bit of home she new, to attend the University of Westminster. She felt nervous and afraid, but stubborn as she was, she had resolved not to give up.

Vendi, Vidi, Vici, she had told herself. Or at least she thought it would be that easy. She felt so small, so alone.

Until she finally met him.

Knock knock, the call of the visitor echoed through her empty flat. Elizabeth put down her bowl of lukewarm noodles and pushed aside the two boxes she was currently using as her dinning room table.

"Who is it?" She asked the stranger, as she had yet to take the time to introduce herself to anyone.

"Uh, my name is William Turner I live next door."

Elizabeth stopped dead in her tracks remembering her father's golden rule. "Safety first, safety first" He had repeated several times like an annoying parrot before seeing her off.

"Umm, yes can I help you?" She asked between the thick wood of the door, still debating whether it was a good idea to open it completely.

"Well...na, no" Will stuttered confused. "But I just thought I'd introduce myself, that's all. And Mrs. Patty from down the hall asked me to take over these cookies she baked to welcome you."

"Aw, how sweet" Elizabeth whispered to herself. How could she say no?

Finally she swung the door open and there he stood. A handsome young man, no more than a few years her senior. He wore dark blue denim and a fresh white t-shirt which complimented his physique. His short brown locks where pushed back revealing the perfection of his facial features. His eyes were beautiful and his smile was soft and genuine.

"Cookie?" He asked. "They're oatmeal raisin."

"My favorite." She said, inviting him in for the first of many times to come.

-Fin.

MMM this could be the start of a beautiful friendship. But yo for real though! I saw the commercial for AWE for the first time today (because I haven't watched TV in the longest time) and I felt compelled to write some new drabbles. So, hope you enjoyed.
