"Why would you do this?!
"Because it looks good, that's why, Skychild!"
Demise groaned in annoyance and slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes. Couldn't those two understand that when he was sleeping it was generally not a good idea to disturb him? As the shouting continued, he reluctantly pulled himself out of his warm bed and stalked to the door.
Throwing the heavy barrier open, he glared down at the startled faces of his servants. "Would one of you kindly explain why you are shouting outside of my room at this hour?"
"I'm sorry, Master, but Ghirahim destroyed my clothing!" Link complained, holding up a pair of black shorts with one hand while keeping a towel tightly around his waist with the other.
Demise took the small garment and held it up. A large diamond shape had been roughly cut out in the back. "Ghirahim…"
His sword huffed and looked away. "I only wanted the boy to show a little more skin, Master."
"A little?! I would have been walking around the castle with my entire rear end showing, Ghirahim!"
"That was the point!"
"You are such a pervert!"
"Well, you have too many morals!"
"Be quiet, both of you!" Demise shouted, shocking the others into silence. "Now. Ghirahim, apologize to Link for ruining his clothing."
"But, Master, I didn't ruin it!"
"Ghirahim…"
"Fine," the sword muttered. "Sorry, Link."
"Now, Link, please return to your room. I will have a new set of clothing made for you."
"Thank you, Master," the teen replied with a grin. He headed off down the hallway, but not before sticking his tongue out at Ghirahim.
The Demon Lord's mouth dropped open and he tugged at Demise's arm, pointing at the boy's quickly disappearing figure. "Master! Did you see what he did?!"
Demise sighed and quickly detached himself from his servant. "Just leave it, Ghirahim. I'm going back to bed."
As he closed the door on his protesting sword, the Demon King wearily rubbed at his eyes. Oh, how he wished those two would grow up. They acted like such children sometimes.
