—I missed you —blurted out Gamora, as she looked at him. It took him by surprise, not her bluntness but the fact that she admitted to missing him. Peter noticed how the little lights in her eyes resembled an earth-like moonlight. It was as if someone had stolen two tiny moons from a planet, maybe Mars or a place in another world further away, and had placed them with divine precision in her magnificent eyes.

Even in an unknown planet with so much to be discovered, Gamora's beauty stood up and was the main focus of Peter's attention. But, as he would later realize, it wasn't only about her appearance. That was the moment when Peter knew he was in trouble, or to be precise, in love.

"only a fling", he thought, while getting closer and closer until the space between their lips, and his attempts to convince himself it was nothing, simply just disappeared.
