Got sudden inspiration for something and I didn't want to lose this, but I promise that this will be published after I update some of my other stories.
Prologue
A long time ago there was a women named Kasandra. She lived in a quiet village with her husband and daughter. Soon however her husband came down with a dreadful sickness and to save him she had to call upon a power she had hidden. At the time this was called Witchcraft. She healed her love but he rat her out. At the time a witch hunt had enveloped the world. To save her only daughter she pleaded guilty and that her daughter was not hers. This took away suspicion from the child. Then as she was burned. The father feeling bad gave his daughter her mothers books and the girl trained in secret. For many generations females have learned from their ancestors and they've permited to be the ones to carry the Shadow family name instead of the males, who have been few. Soon there was a girl born who looked almost exactly like Kasandra except her eyes and her left hand. Her eyes were silver and her hand held a crystal star that randomly appeared at the age of 2. The same thing happened to her younger twin bother except with the right hand. Kara and Yami since then protected their town from creatures called Akuma. One day a Lvl 3 Akuma appeared and killed the twin; but before Yami died he made sure his innocence, the crystal star, was implanted into his sisters right hand. Being twins the innocence excepted the girl without question. Later after the boy was buried a strange man appeared. He had a wide grin, a tall hat, and a balloon like body structure. He showed her a skeleton and offered her her brother back. The girl finding this man insulting since she believed at leaving the dead dead, used her families ancient power to make the shadows blast him. Unharmed, he was hurled into the sky, laughed, and disappeared.
Afterwards, she left home and began following rummers. One such was where she gained her 3rd innocence. This parasitic-type was passing along people looking for it's accomadator, killing many. Kara had arrived into town to find this innocents and got infected herself. The innocence, sensing something in her it liked, merged itself with her teeth and vocal cords.
2 years later she came across a crystal ball that would drive people insane with its terrible visions. She stole the crystal ball and it showed her everything. The Black Order, the war, the Noahs, everything. A chain then emerged from the ball and since then Kara had carried it around, locked around her waist. Making a living through fortune tellings and helping people when she could. This crystal ball was also an innocence in the form of a soul in a ball. The soul was unknown but it rumored to have belonged to Yuzia Shadow, the daughter of Kasandra.
I am now 17, running from the black order. I want to help people, not fight a war where the leaders only cared about winning for their god, not thinking of the cost. This is where my story begins. The day a young girl with strange markings on her head came to me for a fortune...
