Mort dragged Julien by the feet and made his way back to the tiny room where he had been originally tied up.

Meanwhile back at the lemur enclosure Maurice was starting to get worried. He hadn't seen King Julien or Mort for a couple days. He decided to ask the penguins to help him. He knocked on the hatch of the penguins base. Skipper opened it glaring at Maurice.

"What do you want, lemur?" Skipper asked.

"I haven't seen Julien of mort in a couple days, I'm really worried about them" Said Maurice.

Skipper didn't say a word. He only did a hand symbol that seemingly meant come in.

When Maurice made his way in he noticed that Kowalski was in the middle of a disastrous project. He knew that in Kowalski's eyes that project was very important but finding King Julien was much more important.

"Hey uhh Kowalski, I haven't seen King Julien in a couple days I'm really worried" Maurice said.

Kowalski set aside the project and turned to face Maurice.

"A couple days huh" Kowalski said doing some quick mental math.

"Oh dear" he said to himself quietly.

"Do you know what kind things Ringtail could do in a couple days" Skipper said interrupting.

Maurice rolled his eyes.

"Are you going to help me or not?" Maurice asked annoyed.

"No way, a couple days without ringtail feels like heaven" Skipper said.

"Cmon Skipper, we must help him" Private said giving him an innocent look.

"Alright" Skipper said sighing "we can help"

Maurice and the penguins searched the entire zoo asking everyone in search of King Julien. They had made their way to their last hope, Fred.

"Hey Fred" Skipper yelled at the tree. A small tired looking squirrel ran out.

"Hey guys" Fred said.

"Hello" Private said, "Have you seen mort or King Julien?"

"Uh yeah" Fred said.

"Alright where?" Maurice asked.

"Uhh I don't know" Fred said

Kawalski put his flipper to his face.

"Look" Skipper said pointing to a hole in the ground.
