True Revenge
"You really are annoying..." said Sasuke as he stared at her. Sakura began to panic as she realized that Sasuke would not heed to her. Suddenly, a slight laugh could be heard coming from the bushes.
"Heh, Sasuke," said the source of the laughter. "I knew you weak mentally but this takes it to a whole new level!" Out of the shadows stepped a young girl about sakura's hieght and age, but she was far more pretty with dark auburn hair and eyes that put sapphires to shmae. the look on her face told the two of them that she was laughing at Sasuke.
"You're here to stop me?" he asked.
"HA! Hell no! Personally, if you were to just suddenly die right here, I think the world would begin to tremble from joy! The world doesn't need another Itachi. Go ahead, leave! Before you do, however, I just want to say something to you."
"And just what would that be?" he replied, angry that she had dared compare him with Itachi.
"If you leave, I will consider you the weakest thing ever to crawl from the womb of a human female," she spat. "You may not be physically weak, but in the area where mental strength comes into play... well, let's just you need a lot of work and a lot of help! By betraying your friends and those that are important to in some degree, you will only be pleasing your brother because he will know that he has complete control over you. You've already shown him that he has some sort of control over your mind when you attacked him a while back. Last I checked, doing what your enemy wants you to do is not in any shape or form revengeful... nor does it make you happy.
"True revenge... there is a different way to get revenge. Not only is it effective, but you can still be happy with all your friends and loved ones. It's not to kill them, even though having them dead would be a happy side benefit. No, true revenge can be accomplished by showing him you found a way to surpass him with out taking the same route he did. Show him that he can no longer bend your mind with his will.
"Show him that he has no control over you… show him no mercy with the pain you could effect… make him beg you to kill him… the fact that not only were you able to surpass him, but the very way you did it will torture him… Killing him? No, that would only bring relief. YOU DON'T WANT HIM TO FEEL RELIEF."
With those final piercing words, she vanished… without a trace.
A/N: this is one shot… unless you all can convince me other wise. Should I continue? If you really want me to, then vote if Sasuke stays or goes after Orochimaru OR goes off to find this mystery girl.
