Author's Note: This is my first fanfiction and it's very short so it's not going to be perfect at all but I tried my best! Enjoy!
Alfred dragged Arthur through the park excitedly, running towards the next ride. "You're going to love this ride, Iggy! It's based on one of your books and you get to ride around in a teacup! How cool is that?", he enthused. Arthur just grumbled in reply, still slightly dazed from his ride on the Matterhorn.
As he got closer to the ride Alfred was leading him to, he began to hear a group of whistles playing. The next thing he knew, he was looking at giant, brightly-colored teacups that people were sitting inside of. Before he could notice anything else about the ride, Alfred dragged him inside of one of the teacups. "What on earth is this? Are you trying to make fun of me and my perfectly normal appreciation of tea?", Arthur growled at Alfred.
Alfred rolled his eyes at his immediate accusation. "Don't you remember a scene from your own story? This is based on the tea party scene from Alice in Wonderland!"
"They weren't sitting in giant teacups in the book", Arthur grumbled, but didn't protest as the ride started to move. As the teacups began spinning, Arthur realized just how amazing the ride was. He was spinning. Inside of a giant teacup. How much better could an amusement park ride get? He forced his smile down and pretended to be unimpressed. Meanwhile, Alfred was grinning like the idiot he was, looking like he was having the time of his life.
"Isn't this awesome?", Alfred beamed when they got of the ride.
"How could you think that this silly little ride is 'awesome'?", Arthur scowled him. But as Alfred turned away to run ahead and buy some Dippin' Dots, he allowed himself a small smile.
